Currently about to fit the G Booster and ECU into a build and wanted to know if there are 'accessories' available for shorter cables that run between the ECU and turbine? I would really like to loose over half the length of each rather than try to stuff them in somewhere where they will just get in the way.
I did remove the heatshrink from the power cable harness and was a little shocked at the poor quality of the soldering to the multiplex plug and socket, it was hard to work out what wire was soldered to what pin as the little pcb board used to do the job had solder blobs so close to other contacts it looked as if they were joined[X(]
Has anyone shortened these cables, the power one I guess is easy, the black ribbon cable not so - any advice please.
Few pics of the soldering...

Hi Mark, how you doin?
Yes shorten the starter/burner cable it's easy.
The telephone cable you can buy from Maplin with the 6 pin plugs and the crimping tool, I have done many.

Mick, hi well thanks.
Was you with the suggestion for the MM339 gear doors? Done the mod using gear servos and we'll have to wait to see if it holds up for Ali.
Cheers for the info on the cable.
marc.

hi marc,
the red one is the common (+), means 3 pins together by the pcb,
the yellow is the glow (-) to a single pin on the nose side,
the black is the starter (-) to a single pin on the opposit.
both connectors have the same pinning, where the outer (-) at
the connector may left open.
hope this helps - if not send me a pm for a detailed schema.
nice we - arno
