Mr DJ,
I have the BV gun, it's all the same stuff. They work perfect. The unions Brad listed are like Festo. There are alot of different mfgs of these type of fittings. The legris and alpha fittings are very nice and probably better than the festo, just not marketed in the right places for guys like us to find. The prices and markup are surprising too.

DJ,
Randy is dead on. The gun that BVM sells is identical to that of the Henkel (Loctite) or that of a 3M gun. I am assuming that his is private labeled by one of the manuf's.
The Festo, Legris, or Alpha fittings are known as Push-to-connect fittings. They are very common in the industrial market. When I got into this jet stuff last year and went to buy a Festo fitting, I quickly found out that the Legris or Alpha fittings are just as good if not better for substantial savings.
Thanks,
B

When I got the big Hysol order up in 2004 the cost was around $6.50/tube + shipping + tax...Final price ended up being about $7.50/tube....The best price I could come up with now was a little over $9.00/tube + shipping + tax..This stuff has really gone up...Who I went with was Kaman Industrial Products...Last time to get the price cut I purchased about 20 cases I believe...If there is enough interest does anyone want to see if I can do this again and get the price possibly lowered???...Remember, I have to get this by the entire case as Kaman (or anyone else for that matter) will not split up cases...If you don't need an entire case then go in together with a buddy...
Let me know...

Since we have this discussion going on between Hysol and Aeropoxy as it seems it's same product but under different labels for marketing purposes by different guys. What i want to know if what i am using as Aeropoxy resin is the same as if i were to by in tubes with not as resin but as epoxy glue, would it be same product as Hysol also or my brand as Aeropoxy is totally different type.

Sammeer, are you guessing Prototyping Materials is the same company as Henkel or that they are re-packaging Henkel?
You could easily find this out from the MSDS. I'll assume you have the MSDS because you opened the cans.
