Ok here's a couples of (dumb?) questions :
1- They said 5.75" from the root of the wing. Is it realy from the wing's root or i have to take the part that is molded in the fuse?? It should be from the wing 'cause from the fuse root it's amost impossible to balance.
2- Did you balance with upper tank full?? I guess yes, 'cause it should always stay full...
3- I didnt fly tri-cylce since 10years so do i have to put the main a little bit outside or inside??
Thx,
Claude Perron

Hello Claude.
I'm not sure about your questions, but in my country (Denmark) there are no dumb questions, only dumb answers.
You must be sure that the plane never gets tailheavy. It is better to be a bit noseheavy on takeoff. I have flown my Stingray with the CG 2 centimeters forward, and had no trouble with it.
The CG i meassured at the fuselage/wing joint

Hello.
I had to have a few clicks of up trim on the elevons, while I had the CG to far forward, that was all. I found that the aileron throws were a bit to big for my taste, so I made them smaller. But that is individual.
I balanced my Stingray with the hoppertank full, as it will always be full.

My Feedback: (2)
Glorfindel,
Always good to see another Canadian jet guy.
I'll be reinstalling the internals and doing the final balance later this week. When I do, I'll have the UAT full and the main tanks empty. My header tank and ECU battery are located on a bracket right in front of my speed brake servo.
