So Jeff ma man,
What is the protocol now on the East Coast??? Calls to Eric and Ray or calls to BVM for Skymaster items???

SM USA has been good to me!!!! Just trying to get my jaw off the floor...never thought this would be the "mix" but hey...we're all one big happy jet family!!!

Thanks for all your help on jets and parts.

Rex

Hello All.

We at Skymaster-USA are very excited about the merger with BVM.
There are currently no plans to change the pricing on Skymaster products.

Thank you all for your support.
Does this mean we can purchase BVM products from RCI as well? I see the word merger as if the 2 companys have become one.

Re-read the announcement of BVM's website.

BVM and Skymaster have a business relationship, but not a "merger" in the normally accepted definition of the word.
They are still seperate companies but BVM is now the Skymaster distributor for the eastern part of the USA.

Thanks to BV and Jeff for clearing up the mystery from earlier today. I guess I caught it as it was still unfolding.

It is funny to see the amount of press this thread is receiving and BV AFAIK is not even an RCU paying advertiser. Go figure this one out. (JMOHO and take this FWIW)

I understand that BVM has exclusivity on the East coast but, if I have difficulties ordering SM products and I'm on the west coast, can I order from BVM?

Thanks

Cool now maybe BVM can start making ducting for some of the skymaster planes and stuff the vio-fan in it
I hope BVM can get skymaster to take electric serious... there's not many large electric ARF's out there...
Bob loves electric.. maybe he will pull it off
a skymaster 1/8 F-16 with a vio-fan would be sick!! nice bvm drop in ducting

Cool.. this could be a good thing for both companies

Arnaud,
RCI is the Skymaster distributor on the west coast and they are located in Southern California, they have been dealing the Skymaster product for some time now and can get you everything you need. I have been a RCI rep for a year now so if you have any questions please feel free to call me at any time.
Take care,
Dave

WOW...I wonder how all the Skymaster Reps feel about this[sm=47_47.gif]

I can tell you one of them that's not too happy right now.[:@] Matter of fact, I'm downright pi$$ed off about how this whole thing came down. As if by magic this thread appears here on this TREMENDOUSLY UNBIASED forum where everyone gets along just oh-so splendidly. A mere 15 minutes later I get a text message from my partner saying that he got a phone call from Skymaster USA that we're no longer a dealer. OK, I can handle that, everybodies sales are slow right now with a combination of the cold North East winter and the slumping economy.

But wait.... can it be? A few moments later I find out that BVM has taken the ENTIRE east coast? ALL of the other dealers have been dropped? So, I guess this is how we (the "old" dealers) are treated for our loyalty to Anton and supporting some of the pure trash that's been turned out in the past?

You ask how it feels? It feels like I've been F$%%$#D in the A%* without the joy-jelly. THAT'S how it feels.

Mod's / Marc, feel free to lock this, delete it, or do whatever the F**&$ you want to do with it and my RCU login as well. I'm too disgusted with the so called "business end" of this 30 year hobby of mine to care about visiting here again anyways.

What does RCU have to do with this? At least you have RCU where you can come to and tell your story.

FWIW, if what you stated was how it happened, then it stinks to high heavens. Again, JMOHO.

Ben, I can assure you that this is EXACTLY how it happened. I have the test messages / phone calls on my cell to verify it, not that it really matters anyways. As far as what RCU has to do with it, this forum is so saturated with shills and half-followed "codes of conduct" that you may as well forget about getting too many real answers anymore. And before anybody pipes up with the "sour grapes" theory, yes.... I *DO* have a bad opinion about this whole deal, I won't deny it.

Bob

STILL not a Skymaster Dealer/rep/supporter (but have a few planes to sell if anyone is interested)[:@]
