Default 123 battery setup

HI all, how many of us are using 123 batteries in our jets, with no regulators( 7.2+ , off the charger and leveling off to 6.5volts for hours), with, say two JR 331 servos and the rest digital. Any negative effect on the non digital servos.
Thanks Rcpete

Pete

Using two 2 cell A123's through two Fromeco Kodiak switches, these do not regulate the voltage, but give a Mah reading of the used power, I have eight digitals and one analog servo with no detramentle effects noticed so far after 30 flights using them.

Mike

EDIT: additional information, Rx FASST FS6014, servo's all Hitec.

Pete,
Nope none at all. I use the 331 for the retract/brake servo and all is fine. I'd say I have 15-20 flights so far this year using a 2 cell A123 (2300Mah) RX pack. AR9000 RX. The 6 other servosare the 3421 digitals.

Hi Pete,

I have 2 JR351 servos, wheel brakes and gear valve. No problems with the brake servo but the gear servo does not move full range at times and also will buzz and act as if it's stalled but it will be in mid throw. I put a spare regulator in line temporarily and that solved the problem. Joe Rafalowski put me onto the digital version, I believe they are JR 831. Same size and they will solve the problem.

I'm using a 2300mah A123 with Futaba 6014FS.

Hope to see you at Liberty Bell.

Mike

Hooker,
I have run 3421`s in several jets with 123 batts on straight voltage. No problems with them.
