Hi, my name is Clark. Why is it I can buy a set of retracts for $600.00 and wonder are they really expensive enough? But when I go to the store to buy toilet paper it really chaps my hide if Ihave to pay more than $1.49. And why is it I only put thwe lowest grade of gas in my new vehicle but I have no prblem paying $4.00 a gallon for kero for a 5 minute flight. I think I might have a problem!

MY name is Bob and I am a Jet-aholic.

It gets worse I loaned a buddy a Rhino so he could fly his F-15 and Flash without moving his only turbine between planes.

I AM A JET-AHOLIC ENABLER! [sm=bananahead.gif]

Hello everyone,

I'm not afraid of dying. I am afraid of the day the fossil fuels run out from the planet and what then? Life will be meaningless.

So I am at it again, I traded my Viperjet for a ModelBau MB-339 ARTF, now I am trying to get her ready to go with a Jet Central Super Eagle in her. Eric Clapp and Bill Hatcher are meantime putting finishing touches on my Fei Bao Mig 21 (see my Fei Bao Mig 21 Professional Build Thread), I just sold my FEJ F-15 and bought a beautful Skymaster F15 from Ian Oberholser and have a P-120 I dropped in her, she is ready to Maiden this weekend. Them I have my Aviation Design F-100 w/ Jet Central Rhino that my biddy Clark is repairing the wings on after she did a hockey stop on landing after Maiden.

That's 4 Friggin jets!!! What have I done since I last posted? Sold my Baby Boomerand w/ Super Bee + JHH F4 Phantom to get a quick chunk of needed cash for family/home requirements. So now that my debts are zeroed out I am sitting tight through Christmas with my 4 jets in this tight economy right?

Wrong. I am A JETAHOLIC, so of course I am buying another turbine from my buddy, and either saving up for a JL F-22 or a SM Viperjet after that to put my turbine in. Jiminy Christmas what the hell is my problem?????

I think a cocaine habit may be cheaper...
I also think I need to be tied down to a gurney in a psych ward in a hospital and not have the hospital staff believe my claims that I am done wasting money even if I say it very calmly. Especially if I say it very calmly

My name is Shaz, and I am an addict.

This is the 3rd time I am standing up and waving to the rest of you in my theropy group.......My theropist tells me winter is coming, and I need to step away from the jets.... I soon fell to my knees, screaming "why me, why me" " Say it isn't so".

she then proceeded to hand me a small gift in hopes this might help with my recovery. After I opened the box I saw a small bottle of calogne. called " O-day Kerosine" she tells me one little spray each day will help. So far it's not working, I just fouind myself this afternoon walking alone at the flying field, mostly in circles.........................

Hi my name is Shaz, and I am an addict. I can't stop obssessing over planes. Especially jets. I buy them when I don't have money, I buy them when I have 3 boxes of them unbuilt. I buy them on impulse, or simply OUT OF STUPIDITY. I have 4 builds going at any one time, half of them usually aren't even at my house. My wife has no idea.

Well, she kind of does, but no real idea how bad it is. When I am bored at work, I am on RCU, scoping out jets & warbirds. When my wife uses the computer after me, she has to close 16 windows all with ads for jets, searches under jets, jet forum, RCU buy/sell jets. Why do I leave the computer? So I can go to the basement and tinker with my planes (mostly jets).

My whole weekend seems to go better when I fly on saturday or sunday. If I come back with as many jets as I took to the field, I can't stop smiling. I used to have a beer or two on friday nights. Why dont I anymore? Because I dont want to effect my jet flying the next day. People think I must be rich, I am not, I just spend all my disposable income in jets. My poor baby daughter will probably have to work all through college, I will probably never get to retire, our family vacation each year should be to 4 or 5 jet rallies, but then my wife would leave and I wouldn't have any spouse and could just spend time tinkering with my jets. Hmmm...that's a thought.

I have a problem, so I think I am starting an anonymous group. I know most of you reading this have a problem too, but you can't get help if you don't admit it. I will help you. Sell me your jet, we will both feel better.
Who are you ? and how do you know me??

Hi, My me is Jay and I am an addict.
I have now tried most of the therapies available.
Nothing seems to work very well.
I am currently wearing the patch (balsa and epoxy). It is not FDA approved yet.
It may be helping slightly but it did not prevent me from buying a new P-80 this week.
I don't really need it but now I buy them as investments instead of gold..

Jetboy, relapse is part of recovery. Buying a P-80 is not bad. It just shows you need to buy a 120, 160, 180, 200 and maybe some Wrens and Jet Centrals. You will feel better, I am sure of it.

I started Global Jet Club to help you all and myself, but it's getting worse. More jets and more Jetaholics. Please help me find a cure for our disease.

I am NOT a jetaholic. Unlike the rest of you, I am a selfless person who thinks beyond himself…who puts the needs of others ahead of myself. By example, my New Year’s resolutions for 2010 are:

Give my girlfriend more ‘space’ by spending more time building.
Encourage more oil exploration by using more JetA.
Expand the travel industry by promising to attend every jet met within 1,000 miles.
Help the RV industry by getting a new ‘Toy Hauler’.
Remodel the kitchen so it is a more effective workshop in the winter.
To encourage others, like Ali, to be more generous by selling me one of his jets.
To invest more in new technology and developing businesses like DreamWorks.

Come on guys, you can break your addiction. It’s time to put the needs of others ahead of your petty self-interests! Let’s hear your New Year’s Resolutions!
