I have a Airpower EV5D-5U-PRO-ST that not showing pressure in the display.
The valve works perfect in manual mode, but since the pressure show 0 PSI the failsafe steps inn so I can’t use it with my transmitter.
The breaks works perfect with my transmitter, even with pressure showing 0 PSI
Look at picture; that is what my display shows with pressure in my air tanks.
Is there any fault with my valve? Or am I missing something?

The pressure sensor is bad. It needs to be sent in for a replacement.

A friend of mine had his pressure sensor go bad with a unit he bought from Airpower and was used for 5 flights.
Where can he send it in for a repair or replacement ?

Mine worked fine until about air fill # 12 or so... Now my brake display shows 26 when empty, retract side is normal. There has to be 2 sensors. 1 for each system. I wished those sensors were customer serviceable and you could buy them. I think these sensors are extremely sensitive to moisture.. I have since bought the moisture in-line trap for my compressor. I would recommend you getting one. $15.00 at Dreamworks. I spoke to Todd about this, he offered to replace the unit no problems. Give him a call. Post any new info you might get fom him. Im intrested to see if the Mfg. is aware and fixing the problem before they ship out.
Good Luck !!!

The old version digital pressure sensor on the EV5 series valves have shown more failures than we where comfortable with. Airpower has changed manufacturers of this device and the new supplier has proven to produce a much more reliable piece. Unfortunately, when the digital sensor has failed, the only option is to return the valve for a replacement. This is not something the end user, nor Dreamworks can repair. If your sensor has failed, please contact your supplier for a replacement valve.
Current valve Version 4.0 contains this new hardware in addition to the ability to now view on board battery voltage. The new hardware is easily identified by looking at the bottom of the EV5U-PRO Valve. See image below for clarification.

Guys,
I posted on a similar thread but i'll do the same here. I posted earlier on this thread about the pressure display on the brake side stopping at 26psi when dumping that system to 0 psi. after sitting in the shop with no pressure for about 3 weeks, the next time I went to fly I powered up the system and the display was back to zero. I filled with air, display came right up, dumped it again went to zero, filled again, flew, landed, it show the pressure drop that I used the brakes, dumped it, went to zero. It's working fine now. Back to normal. I guess it " fixed it self.....[sm=confused.gif] Works great now. Thats my story... I definatly recommend to dump all the air after every flight session ( brakes and retracts ) and use the moisture trap... Good luck !!!!! Great valve for sure, solved ALL my problems with Door issues on my F-16.
