Hi guys,
I recently purchased a composite BVM Bobcat but have no instructions for C.G. etc, looking on BVM website it states 8.2" AFT of L.E. at Fuse Wing root
Can you guys who are successfully flying bobcats please confirm at which location on the attached diagram the measurement should be taken for the C.G. 1,2 or 3? Now my thought is 3 but not sure if the measurement is to be taken inside or outside the booms?
Second question is engine down thrust, I believe the downthrust on the bobcat/kingcats are significant. im running a Jetcat P80 but unsure of required angle of dangle
Thanks for your feedback, its greatly appreciated.

There should be a small hole on the underside of the booms, mine balances 5 - 10mm behind them.
I run a supersport, but i dare say someone will be along in a minute to answer your P80 question

The stock engine mounts that came with the kit will give you the correct down thrust. The wifes composite BobCat flys with a 24# thrust engine and the orginal mount works out correctly. As already stated there should be a small hole in the bottom of the boom that is the starting cg location with out fuel. This is a safe point to start from.
