For you MGT owners, do you have a problem where the end of the CVA connects to the differential, it almost barely sits in there? I've tightend my a-arms all the way in and it seems that if i land a hard enough jump or just hit it the wrong way then the CVA will pop out. Today, actually i was driving it and heard a clunk and it seems it did pop out and snagged it wrong and now its bent at about a 160 degree angle. Bummer. I tightened then all the way in and it sits a little better. I managed to bend the CVA back to straight after about 30 min. and stuck it back in so i guess we'll see how it goes. Oh, and i have RPM a-arms. Any input if this happens to anyone else?

I've only had 1 pop out on me and that was with stock arms. Mine sit in the drive cup pretty good, so I'm still not sure how it happened. When you say you've tightened the a-arms, I'm assuming you mean the pillow balls. Are they the stock cvd axles? Do you have the stock knuckles or something different?

Yea exactly. i tightened the pillow balls until there was no thread left to secure it in the drive cup as much as possible. The axles and the knuckles are all stock, though. I'm gonna give it a test run tomorrow and see how it goes. Do you know if cutting about 1/6 of an inch or less off of the A-arms where the pillow ball goes in, would allow for a little more room for the drive cup/axle joint.? Or is my math off and that wouldn't aid?

Cutting a little off may work as long as the pillow balls are not bottoming out in the threaded hole. Are they longer than the stock arms? I haven't heard of anyone saying that they are right on the edge of the drive cups like that.

I mean there is probably about a 2.5-3.0mm distance between edge of drive cup and CVA pin. I just compared my RPM's with stock A-arms and it does seem they are a tad bit longer. 5mm maybe. Measured it with my eyes. That could be the problem though.

ive got RPM knuckles, RPM a arms and mine sit a good distance in there, with the top a arm just up to the threads, and the lower with 1 or 2 threads showing so i get some camber, never had 1 pop out after some nasty crashes, maybe get a pic of where bouts they sit?

As soon as i locate my camera ill post some pics. I think i might have not had the pillow balls threaded into the arms far enough or something.
It makes you wonder. I couldnt bend one of those CVA axles if i tried for 20 minutes yet that 12lb car can do it in a solitary jump. pretty crazy.
