why do i always have to heat the engine up with a hair dyer for it to kick over?
even when its warm like it is now 55c i still needed to do it...
my t-maxx .15 never needs the hair dyer even when its 20s outside.
at first i thought it was just a bad plug but i have a new one in it.
when i take it with me to work which i drive it in a big parking lot it sucks when i have to take it back in the truck and turn on the heat and wait for it to heat up...

What do you mean you need a hair dryer? Do you mean it wont turn over unless its heated up or it does turn over but wont start till its warm? If you did the break in properly and its tuned correctly you should not need a hair dryer. Its only durring break in that you may need one but not after.

it wont turn over without heat. but sometimes it will if i keep trying
but as soon as it turns over its ready to drive.
the truck prob lee had the break in already because i bought it use off the buy & sell.
but if this is because the engine has alot of compression than i guess i have nothing to worry about
because when the truck running it pretty much roars over anything lol
oh i have another?
why the the clutch bell keep locking up?
it happen 2 times on me now couple months ago when i got the truck and last night.
so i took it off which i had to pull ready hard but got it off than i sprayed some wd40 inside the clutch bell and wipe it off
and it was ok again.
does this pretty much happens sometimes? i also check the clutch shoes and they look like new.

your clutch springs are probably shot. they're probably engaging on idle.
ps, i would advise against putting any type of oil or lubricant on the inside of the clutchbell/clutch shoes.

Is the Tower Terror considered an 1/10 or a 1/8? On towers website it's listed as a 1/10, but I wonder if that's a misprint cause it looks way too big to be a 1/10, plus it comes with a .25 and I've yet to see a 1/10 that comes stock with a .25, so this leads me to believe it's a 1/8. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's technically a 1/10th.
The big selling point behind it was that it had big block power in a 1/10th package.
Gordesky, hoow does the truck start? Does it use a starter wand/roto start or anything like that?

You can check you clutch for broken or try loosening the glow plug a little when starting or try a different glow plug with a different heat range with a idle bar.
Make sure the glow plug is bright yellow. The engine should start in 3-4 puls. If not try adjusting the idle screw a little untill it fires.[8D]

gordesky1 You live in PA right? whats the warmest temprature you have been running in lately? if its as cold as I think then keep the hair drier out till it gets warm or just store your RC in a warm place. As for the clutch its time to start over. Probably a new clutch bell and bearings also, they wear out a lot faster than a lot of people care for them. Give that RC some TLC and you will probably be OK......Good Luck and HAPPY RC'en
