thats cool rapsucks ill have to try that place out do they have a track?? if its out of your way i would even bother going to m&m they are nothing to brag about, the track is ok not the best and the people there seem to know more about helis and boats then they do about cars and trucks. i only go there to use the track and the occasional race every now and then

i have tried the boiling method and it does work. though if the rims you are boiling are chrome, the chrome will fade so i suggest if you want to keep the chrome wheels chrome just buy new chrome wheels and stick the dirt bonz on the new rims. then you will have 2 sets of tires. thats if your rims at the moment are chrome? if not just boil them off. it wont effect the plastic.

I would personally go with pro line bow ties. Much better tire and will last you WAY longer.

i cant find any replacements for that but i suppose a stock air filter replacement would work. why do you need to replace it??? i have that same one and as long as you clean it regularly you shouldnt need to replace it

is your truck the rtr or the kit?, the kit comes with hardend ones already the rtr comes with pot metal diffs. you should only replace them if you have the rtr and upgrade your engine. mine have lasted me over a year (i have the rtr with the t-15, but getting a lrp z.18s for christmas). when i added a tsais nitro devil pipe the rear diffs wore out quick. you should get the hardend ones if you have the rtr but only if your going to upgrade your engine/get a tuned pipe. where abouts in london are you from if you do not mind me asking

Hey I came across a review for the [link=http://www.everything-rc-cars.com/29-hpi-mt2.html]hpi mt2[/link]

This thread has made me want to get one myself, my old POS rc car isn't cutting it anymore. HPI is the way to go I think, maybe I'll just wait for the new firestorm!!

the firestorm is already in stock you can buy them off ebay if you want or towerhobbies.com... but i wouldnt go with a 2wd they dont have very much control i would go with the mt2 18ss cause it has the same size engine and its 4x4 truck... are you new to nitro rc

here is a video of the firestorm, but i am told that it isnt stock....it goes to show that it cant handle very much power while still being controllable

Well a decently built .18 wouldn't have a problem making a 2wd launch like that. I'd say there is a good chance it is stock.

im not a fan of the stock air filter, plus a better one will cause my engine to last longer. im thinking of getting the filter that comes stock on the firestorm. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXLGB1&P=&I. It has a dual layer filter, and looks pretty sick[sm=teeth_smile.gif]. And its only 9.29 on towerhobbies. I thought it would be a good upgrade to go along with my new 100cc fuel tank and associated tuned pipe

pot = piece of trash? or as in "the pots to boil water" lol?

rtr's are great..but if u want the most quality for ur money ur best bid is a kit..takes a lil time b4 u can just open box and drive but its worth it!

yeah i have a t-15, not the best engine, but i doubt i will be replacing it for a while[sm=disappointed.gif]. i might as well keep it up and running.

Speaking of engines, im replacing my glow plug does anyone one know which type the t-15 uses?

Any suggestions on which glow plug to get?

i wanted to upgrade to the o.s. .18 cv-rx , but its way too expensive because u have to upgrade a bunch of other stuff too. Plus i figured out what was wrong with my engine. the gasket came off, so the pressure kept changing, so it would never keep tune. It works perfectly now, and sounds even better with the new associated tuned pipe i got. I might upgrade some time later on
