hey g
how are you shutting it off??
i had the same problem if i shut down by plugging the ext.
that got me thinking i`m flooding the engine with fuel.
it was hard to restart. i got into the habit of using the fuel line pinch if i have to shut down before
i run the tank dry.

Love my Spektrum DX3 and do not have to worry about what frequency others are on!!!!!! A fail-safe only works if the signal is lost or the receiver pack is low.

i just read 1..it said interfierence..ill find it and post it..

and guy with tank issues.. does ur tank have a primer? if so use it. and another thing..u can place ur finger over the pipe tip and that will prime the engine and pressure causes fuel to flow :P

hey anyone who has upgraded there engine i have recently swaped out the t-15 for an lrp z16s and like it was thrashing a few of the buggys at the track but i have only ran 3-4 tanks through it before i hade to change spur gear as it was shredded. do any of use have this problem my gear mesh is correct. any ideas on how to stop it shredding i no i cod always upgrade to steel spur gear but then my clutch bell will end up shredding al the time and i no most guys on here have a 0s 18 cvrx in there and it has more power than my lrp so what do use do? many thanks adz
Sounds like either your slipper is too tight or your gear mesh is not correctly set. I have my OS.18CV-R in os for around 20 tanks now and still running the stock spur that came with the T-15.

hmm ima have to get the 1 u have seems decent not bad price and my lhs has it in stock

christmas is gonna be hot here in florida..

gona be like mid sixties..plus im near the beach

every 1 in my family is into r/c

im 16 and have cousins ranging from 2 y/o through 18 y/o

and every 1 of my cousins over 10 has an r/c
the 13 y/o just got a gt2 and his dad bought himself a this freaking huge stealth fighter jet..this thing seems like it goes 500mph and has like the sound of a real jet

as for me and my oldest cousin we are the racers (he owns the tc3 and revo)

and the 10 y/o is still into eletric but he dont know he getting the e savage yet

ALL THERE CARS ARE IN MY GARAGE... the 2 young 1's dont know they have them yet.. thats why there parents hide them in my garage

now every weekend i have to pick them up and take them to the park with me!

can wait till they learn r/c..ill have them fixxing my cars free of charge!

i cant beat the 18 y/o on the track

his revo running the .18 revo m/f (O.S) and kills me on the track

but on the drag my 4-tec does his cars in nicely

i too need help im looking to buying either a lst2/savage ss/hellfire/revo!!!!!! NEED HELP ON DECISON

btw any 1 ever have their mt2 sputtering? i did a couple up and downs and it kinda sputtered on the way in..like a quick stall then turned back on?
Before I bought my Savage XSS, I was looking at a Losi LST2. They are good, but still from what I have heard, the durability still isn't as good the Savage. The Hellfire is a great truggy, but you really need to race it to get the most out of it.

Personally, buy the Savage! You can't go wrong! Make sure you get the XSS kit version and you'll get the K4.6 .28...crazy power, wheelies, awesome top speed.....you'll absolutely love it. PLus you get a steel spur and hardened/racing CB + metal diff cases + hardened drive train...

I run an Ofna failsafe in both my cars - it too mentions "signal interference"...works great though...

What I am saying is if some one else is on your channel a fail-safe does you no good this is the type of interference I am talking about.

Spurs if you are having troubles with stripping them either your mesh is off big time or your clutch is slipping causing the CB to heat up and melt the spur. I have been running the same spur on my Savage with well over 7 plus gallons with out a problem and it has the same spur as my MT but the Savage is about 6 pounds heaver. The only spur I had problems with is when I fist built the truck and was breaking it in a do to the stock clutch shoes slipping so bad it melted my spur. Put good shoes in have not had problems since.

My 4.6 SS Savage has been a very durable and reliable truck with 7 plus gallons throw it still running great!!!

When you are talking about nitro engines are you talking about engines in general or are you talking about RC truck and car engines, as there is a VERY BIG difference!!!! The biggest TRUE RC truck engine is a .32. The truckzilla 46 is nothing but a redesigned low RPM helicopter engine and a good 28 will out run it top end but it does have loads of torque. If you look you will see that car and truck engines turn about 3 to 4 times the RPM of and air engine.

There are a lot better ways to spend your money and if you go to the HPI monster truck forum you will see most think the say way. I like my Savage and RC vehicles to be as light as possible as weight is HP.

you dont use diff oil cause these diffs arent sealed you only use grease and i dont think what kind it is matters, grease is grease

im not sure what tank im running, but i know that the fuel pickup, its on top of the tank(yes its the fuel pick up im sure). Well i found that wether i shut it off or it shuts off by its self, it still wont start without me putting more fuel in it. Yea i do the finger thing for like 5-6 pulls, nothin, im thinkin maybe the pipe isnt producing enough pressure to finish off whats in the tank? Should i try the stock pipe and see what happens? Should i buy a different fuel tank?

O and my tank doesnt have a primer

i checked on tower hobbies and it said that it doesn't use a pressure nipple, the fuel line is suppose to fit into the hole, but my fuel line was too small, so i concocted something, to make it work. It worked out well, cant wait to installl it on my mt2 along with the other parts i got.
