The stock evader clutch springs seem to be weak. Check it out. If it is loose or stretched at all, it will kill your idle. Abuddy of mine has one and his clutch springs don't last very long. He can always tell because it will not idle, regardless of carb. settings.

Whoa dude, what are you looking at? The whole darn carb throat is only 6mm diameter. Take your air filter and elbow off the carb. Turn on your radio and receiver. Open and close your throttle while looking down the carb throat. See the drum open and close? Adjust your idle screw until the drum is about 1mm open when your throttle is closed. Now fully apply your brakes. Does this opening remain? It should or else continue to adjust your throttle screw until it does, then readjust your throttle linkage to not over stress your servo when braking.

We need a little more back ground info
How much time on the motor? when a motor gets on it last legs it's very hard to tune.
I assume you are adjusting the needles with a brand new glow plug? a cold plug will cause the engine to die easily
Does the engine have good compression? no squeeze no go
Assuming all above are fine, I'd start looking for air leaks

The first thing I'd look at is your low speed needle setting. If its really rich that could do it. The way to check your low speed needle is to squeeze the fuel line shut while your car is idling and check how many seconds before your engine begins to speed up and then starts to die. Ideally, this should be 3-4 seconds. If less than 3, your setting is too lean. Open your needle up 1/4 turn and try again. If more than 4-5 seconds, your needle is too rich. Turn it in 1/4 turn and try again. Keep this up until you're in the 3-4 second range.

No, you need to turn it in (clockwise). Do it 1/4 turn at a time until you are in the 3-4 range. Also, your high speed needle should be around 2 turns from fully closed (turn it counterclockwise from fully closed). Make sure your high speed is in the 1 3/4 - 2 1/4 turns open before adjusting your low speed needle. Just to make sure you know which needle is which; the high speed is the one on the left of the carb when looking down its throat, the idle is the little one with a spring on it kind of under the throat, and the low speed is on the right of the carb facing the front of the car. Good luck.

Okay, if all your needles are set like I described before, then its not a carb adjustment problem. Next take your body off and your air filter and elbow. Turn on your radio and receiver. Operate the throttle open and closed and watch what the drum in the carb is doing. Is it opening and closing quickly in response to your throttle? If not, find out why. Throttle return spring stretched, or missing? Linkage catching, or binding on something? Gunk in the carb? If your drum is opening and closing quickly and none of the other things are happening, then the next thing to look for is an air leak around your carb, your fuel tank, your fuel line If none of these, and you're sure your carb is set right, send the engine back to Hobby Services for their analysis and fix. (it should be still under waranty).

maybe you just bust your needle tighten too hard?? i suggest a carb tear down, check up then rebuild and reset the whole enchiladas. then retry. don't forget that each time you set the low needle, you got to re-set (not reset) the high one too. about the idle needle, its only effective when u dont touch the gas trigger. when u hit the gas, the idle needle do nothing anymore.
PS engine stalling when u hit the gas= engine too rich
