I have asked this question of you numerous times and you have not answered. DO YOU HAVE A MANUAL? Some of the things you ask are in the manual. If you do not have one you can down load it from HPI web site, as you really need to have one.
If you do not want to spend much money why would you even consider any CF? I have the front CF shock tower only because I picked it up off ebay new for $5 and have not had a problem with it.
Bead lock wheels are held on by screws that go through the rubber on the tires so if you keep changing from on to off road tires you are going to be putting more holes in the tires every time you change. All so they are way to heavy.
Being money is a factor which pipe has a lot to do with how much you want to spend.

Put all the carburetor needles back to the factory settings then make sure you glow plug igniter is well charged or in working order. Then check or better yet replace the glow plug and try to start it.

Whew! just got in from running my truck, and I had a bit of a tough time. I had just pulled it all apart, and put all the new parts on, and I had to pull the carb apart to clean it all, since it was caked in dirt. the hsn was all full of sand and junk, so I washed it all out, and put a touch of ARO on the parts to inhibit any rust. In the process, I managed to keep all the settings intact, except for the idle adjustment, since I had to pull the screw right out, and clean out all the dirt in between the coils of the spring.
Anyway, I got it out there, and it was a pain to start, and wouldn't stay running. so, I put the needles back to factory settings, and it turned out i had the hsn set WAY rich (about 4 turns out from closed), and the lsn WAY lean (about 1.5 turns in from flush). So, I put this all back to factory, and it started, but was still too rich, so I leaned the hsn another half turn, and the lsn about 1/4, so it's running good now. I was wondering if the dirt in the hsn could have caused some problems with it running leaner than it really was. Has anyone else ever had this kind of problem?

Not sure which engine you are running but every engine I have run, which now is bout 10 in different vehicles, have an o-ring on the needles so I do not see how dirt can get in buy the needle. All so I do not recommend using water to clean any engine or bear metal part. You should use something like brake parts cleaner and either blow it off with compressed air or clean rag. All so when adjusting a carburetor from factory settings you should adjust the HSN first and get it adjusted properly before ever touching the LSN.

Well, I'm running the T-15, and i did adjust the hsn first (since the hsn controls overall fuel flow, and the lsn just the low-speed fuel flow). But, as I said, when you unscrew the bronze hsn casing from the carb body, and pull the fuel inlet off the hsn casing, that was all full of grit and junk. there were no O-rings in there, just flimsy paper gaskets.

Hmmmm, could be, i don't have a filter in there, so it's possible. I doesn't seem that anything was getting past the hsn, but I think it was restricting flow, making it run leaner that it should have.

Unfortunately, this is true. But you can still get most parts for it at hobby shops all around, although I'm finding some parts tough to get, like the CF upper deck, and a couple other parts.

The US HPI web site has ALL WAYS been behind the others. When something new comes out it take HPI US about 6 months to get the instructions on their site and the other sites have them shortly after the new release but not in the US!!!!!! Been busy working on my new Hyper 8.
