use the evader bx spur and clutch bell combo, and no when you see a jato coming at you you get on the throttle and drive so that your front bumper will hit his front left wheel that way his a arm will break and yu should be all good. to make the truck not wheelie all you have to do is loosen the slipper.

if you want to keep the any engine cool your gone to have to cut holes in the body so air can flow through. i run byron race fuels 25-30%. i run it because it was making my monster gt do wheelies.

I use top fuel 20%. I like it fine, but people dis it all the time. IDK why, but it works for me, and it's cheaper than odonnel and I have to buy it myself, so the cheaper the better.

Right on Brownstone....The closer you are in # of teeth between the spur and clutch bell, the faster top end. The further away you are in # of teeth, the faster bottom end.
I just ordered the 54 tooth and plan on running it with the BX 17 tooth CB to see what it does to the top end speed.
I also just ordered the 63 tooth and plan on running it with the Nitro Evader St stock 15 tooth to see what effect it has on the low end.
Has anyone else attempted this combo on either?

I have both sets of BX and ST spurs and bells. I haven't found my perfect set up yet, but I certainly like the BX set up with the Mashers on the truck. At about 10 mph I pull a wheelie rather then off the line like with the ST set up.

Guys what is the best combination of spur gear and clutch bell that give the most top end with the stock engine. Also I don't want a combination that will damage the engine or put stress on it.

i used to use the traxxas stuf but i didnt like the car just died when it ran out of gas. with my byron race fuels it bogs down then it will go for another few seconds.i dont know why or it might just be me not liking traxxas but it happens when i run my car. and in those few seconds left on the tank i try to drive it back to me. maybe its just that im weird (probably why)

your clutch will get hot it will melt your clutch shoes. it wont go as fast because the engine is working harder because it has to work more to move the spur and everything else. since your engine is working harder that means your engine will get hotter.

yea man Np thank my hobby show there a bunch of people who when they dont have a part for yea they will make something work lol but yea give it a try i need to get a new CB any ways soon so when i do im ordeing the smallest GT gear and going to see about speed and guys member this( the evader is a 3 pound car on BBs it dosnt take alot of power to get it moveing the DTX.18 has enough power if u gear it lower than stock its still got enough power to kick it off the line and still have speed now if it was a .12 i would tell u to be more giveing on the spers and i would maby run a 15t cb with a 56t sper but the DTX.18 i say go low get some speed and it still will have enough to kick u off the line)

if u got a GT needing a new CB and u have an evader well its something to think about but only problim is its 65t but its steal

your LSN may be too rich, set your HSN right then follow the instructions below
LSN should be set so that after you gas it at high revs and let it drop back to idle you should be able to pinch the fuel line about 1 inch back from the carb and the engine will rev up & die between 1-3 seconds (i run it closer to 3), if it's too lean it will die in less than a second & if it's too rich it will take over 3 -5 seconds to stall. set it up like this & you should be able to wheelie off the line if yuor slipper & diff are wound in tight. you will put excess strain on your drive train doing this, so expect to be replacing gears more often.

drive it in grass on a hill and hit the throttle really hard. you should be able to wheelie and if you have good tires like mashers or moabs you should be able to wheelie no problem

It also has a lot to do with the tires you are running and the surface that you are on. When I run my Dirt Works I pull wheelies on hard surface, but can't in grass/dirt. When I put my Mashers on I pull wheelies in the grass and dirt, but spin on the hard surfaces. When I put on my Bowties, I can't get enough grip to pull a wheelie any where.

I can do wheelies with the stock tires, but you should not do them very often it will kill your drivetrain.
Guys what would happen if you stuffed a Jato's engine in a Evader?
