Hi Everyone,
Firstly I'm a newbie so apologies if i ask a really stupid question but I'm a little stuck so i thought it best to come and ask before i break something.
I have a Schumacher Menace 21, its standard RTR at the moment with the Schumacher r1000 servos. I have got a failsafe delivered today which I was about to fit but my connections on the failsafe are different to those of my servos.
The servo connections have like a little slip of plastic on one side that connects into a groove in the receiver, but my failsafe is smooth all round, it is a Schumacher failsafe.
Am i right in thinking that i need to just unplug channel 1 from my receiver (which is the throttle/break servo) plug in the fail safe and then plug the servo cable into the female end of the servo cable?
Do i have to "clip" the plastic bit off ?
Many thanks in advance for your information, I have searched on here but couldn't find anything, maybe its obvious to everyone else, lol

yeah you do but make sure when you plug in to the failsafe that you line up the colors of the wires ie black to black red to red white to white.

line up brown with black oarnge with white and red to red and it should be ok just make sure when you put in the rx its the same ie look at your steering servo and the black should be beside the brown in the rx
