the nitro sport doesn't exactly come well equipped for racing, and the technology for it to race is a little old.
The duratrax Evader series is based off the Team Losi XX car and trucks. They converted it to make a nitro vehicle. Back when the XX was new, it was a top dog as far as competition goes. Nice solid platform and still has a decent suspension geometry for todays standards.

oh lol kemo u seem o know ur stuff well i just found that the manual for break in is wrong and i suck at breaking them in. I we=ill order one of the evaders after christmas cant wait

i can second the Nitro Evader, it was my first offroad nitro car (had a onroad nitro before) and it was great, very reliable. I had a hard time breaking it, it handles well if setup correctly, and took my 10foot BMX track jumps with ease,(bit of chassis slap never hurt no one LOL)

i dont have a firestorm but it is a nice stadium truck, my buddy has one. i personally like the x-cellerator from the ones you put on your poll.
