RE: mustang color sheme
if you can name two brands right now that you want logos for I'll give a quick go on my inkjet with clear laser transparent paper and see how it comes out...

RE: mustang color sheme
Ok cool I already did it.... will print in a second this is what I did.... it actually came out pretty nice.
three things to consider:
1 the sticker paper I printed on is not vinyl so it's not going to flex as much which means you'll have to put them on flatter parts of the cars.
2 they're waterproof cause I did them with my laser printer...
3 this kind of sticker is very testy, you absolutly cannot touch the back of it when you apply it or you'll leave finger prints under the sticker. you have to be careful not to scratch the sticker too when you apply it.
here it is:
enjoy

Just make sure when you get the stickers I made cut out a little piece of the clear area and practice putting it on. You'll also want to cut very close to the edges of the printed logos or you'll have these funny looking areas on your shell where it's not as glossy as your shell, you'd want it to be shiny. I was lucky to finally nail down a print setting for these I am working on my own drift car and am waiting for the shell to come. I'm going to do another sheet of them too once my vinyl sheets come in. I'll do a couple and send you a copy just to have hehe and you're very welcome.

to do that you'd have to replicate it either in vector or at 300 dpi to do a color laser print. The problem is I don't know of any color laser vinyls. With the paper I have it might not be flexible to go all the way down the side of a car. Since you're painting your car white it might work any other color would be a problem unless you did a white sticker but then you'd have to deal with a number of other issues like white text on white car means invisible... . I could do one, but only if I had the source. Doing graphics like that can take a while to complete even for a professional.

no, but it's not for on the mustang. It's for on my castrol supra from tamiya.
By source, you mean the website?http://hometown.aol.co.uk/zondas123/...page/auto.html

You need the source though that's just a picture of it. It should be a large picture or .eps .psd .il etc file. I can't do a graphic which will go on the supra like that with what I have right now the sticker film has absolutly no stretch in it. So the graphic would get krinkles in it and look weird.

OK email or link to me any other car related graphics you find. I'll share some here later maybe make up a thread dedicated to car graphics. I wouldn't mind hosting a sort of graphics database for the users here.

I'll send them to you free, but I'm only going to do it when I'm ready to paint my car and have finished my own graphics which may be a week or two before I even really have time. You can always take the file and go to a local print shop and it's likely you could get it done for 5 bucks. This is probably the best way for you. There are a few things you need to know. First what size you want the graphic to be. Secondly what kind of film you want it on, you'll want a clear adhesive vinyl for your light color cars, and a white backing for your dark cars which will require a lot of detailed cutting to apply in a way that doesn't look funny. Thirdly you'll need to bring them a graphic source file which meets the resolution requirements or your graphics will look blurry or have other artifacts. You'll want to bring them on a CD or thumb drive.

1: the size: they must fit on a regular 200mm body
2:clear adhesive vinyl because it's an candy-orange car
3:this size is the best I can do. Can't you make it sharper when you make it bigger?

Also that .psd you sent me doesn't work. It's saying it works with another version of Photoshop, but I am running both 7.0 and CS so I don't know what version it needs.
