Thanks Ray!   And for those of you that are CD's, you should really consider taking a look at the scoring spreadsheet that Ray has created.  You're seeing the results now, but his program is outstanding for a local contest.   Easy data entry, very simply set up, and intuitive.  We had several entering scores including Bob's 12 yr old neighbor with no problems.   And it runs on anything that runs Excel.

It won't handle the Nats, but that trade off greatly simplifies the local contest.

The D4 Championship probably had more Contras than at any contest in history. There were a total of five planes with Contra Drives. Here are some pictures:

The pilots from left to right are:

Bill Ahrens (f3a D5)
Mike Gaishin (Intermediate D4)
Brenner Sharp (Masters D4)
Dave Snow (f3a D5)
Bobby Satalino (Masters D5)

This contest is always FANTASTIC! Anyone who has ever attemted to run a contest knows just what all it takes to make it happen. It takes alot of good people!

I want to thank everyone for making it a super contest. Great job Mark! Bob and Amy, we know what goes on behind the scenes to keep Mark from going off the deep end.
The Flying Cardinals Club gave up a weekend of flying and had several members that spent the weekend running scores and such. Without good people willing to work, it just won't happen..

Great job and a Great contest!
Thanks again!
Rick

Anyone know who had the tiny orange cub flying after the first round? Iris wants one, would be fun to get it for her.

What were the little D/F jets that were flying the night fly? They were amazing!

Hi, sorry to revive this for such a dumb question, but I really want to find out what the little orange plane was flying around after the contest - was sort of dark and near the top/down wind portion of the landing strip.

Iris has been bringing this plane up since the contest and would love it for Christmas. Any leads would be greatly appreciated
