Are the JR DS3711 HV available in the states? I could only find the 3717HV

Never mind I found the answer...the search function at horizon is not working very well.....

Here is my new Shinden from Hebert Competition Designs. The scheme was done by my wife and is absolutely gorgeous in the air. The adage "Pictures don't do it justice" prevail with this one as well. For some reason, this scheme makes an already large plane look bigger. So far, the flight characteristics exceed my expectations.

Shinden
Neu 1513/2Y
Hyde Soft Mount
BLS153 servos for elevator
BLS352 for rudder
BLS551 Aileron
Castle ICE II 80HV Lite
Falcon 21x14 Prop

Here is Team Safarik's Creation, the Caelus Bipe. My dad Pavel designed and built them. Construction is a mix of balsa/foam for the wings, stab, and parts of the fuselage, and molded fiberglass parts for the cockpit, canopy and bottom tail. The Prototype is the red and orange one, which started life at 5.5kg but got down to 4940g with a hacker c50 xl11 and 9s 25-50c 5000mah batteries. the white/blue/orange model was much lighter, coming in at 4800g with a helical neu motor and the same 9s batteries. I got to fly the prototype at the Nats as my reciever battery failed mid-flight in the blue/orange incarnation. The airplane flies beautifully, with just a touch too much fuselage side area. The Plan for this winter is a composite fuse, and foam/built-up/composite wings depending on time.

its going to take some getting used to!
I flew it last week, I was really nervous and it has so much more power. once I get a few flights on it my nerves should calm down then I can start working on intermediate sequence 1 maneuver at a time LOL

Hi Torben,
Nice paint work.
Are those wings painted (primed) in the mould and what weight were they as they came out of the mould.
