Holy crap - where is everybodies sense of humour. It's supposed to be a hobby not a vocation! Frankly I would be a little disappointed in a company if they didn't try to solicate business from other subsiduaries. Jeese you should go to europe sometime and see the women. No one is too uptight about the human body over there.Over here we're kinda stuck up on T&A.

When I was looking at the PL site I couldn't decide who I wanted to be with more - the babe or the plane.

(who said RC was supposed to be a family oriented activity - maybe somewhere there is a club devoted to Porn for Pilots)

Dude (nothing),

If ya can't decide which one you'd rather be with, the babes or the planes, you gotta get more serious 'bout your pattern man! : ) Jess kidding, but seriously, I know I'd go for the planes.

Yah - me too. It takes less time and a lot less effort to trim out and dial in a
good pattern plane.

To JWN - to say it is a "gentlemans" hobby is a rather sexist outlook don't you think?

You can't offend me!

And more to the point, I really don't care if what I say or do offends you.

...or PL Prod..

Come on people, is being politically correct an absolute must?[:-]

I dont get it, whats the big deal ?

The models are wearing underweær, and very nice they are too. Buts its nothing worse than you would see at the beach. And in Europe on the beach they would be topless........
A bit glamour in the hobby isnt a bad thing, as long as it doesnt decend into the realms of porn.

Did anyone notice that some of the advertisments that appear on the RC Universe contain very scantilly clad female models holding model airplanes?????????

Not at all. A Gentleman is neither sexist nor demeaning.

Hell, I'd take one of each !!

Until I read this thread, I didn't know that we had prudes in this hobby ---- I certainly never flew with any and I've been at it since '61.

I can just see it next time I'm at the field with a really sexy pattern plane and some member comes over and says (putting his elbow in my ribs, nodding his head toward my plane) ayh, does she have a go, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, does she have a go? Is she a goer ayh, know what I mean nudge, nudge, know what I mean?

Is that a glow plug igniter in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
