Can this plane perform precision pattern flight?

Sure it can,,, at least to some extent... If you are talking about the 33% its too big to make the size/weight limit but you can certainly fly the patterns with it.
I fly the patterns with my big gasser all the time.

The point to pattern is learning to fly
straight lines at a constant distance out parallel to the runway (unless its a correcting turnaround at the end of the box)
Rolls in the middle of a straight line
constant, consistant roll rates.
symmetrical geometric maneuvers (round loops, square squares,)
equal radii within a maneuver



You can certainly practice all of that with your plane and you will be better for it, but unless it falls within the 11# 2M its too big, except maybe for sportsman....
