I spend 27000 baht which is around 670 USD for the plane only. They are also have additional accessory which are the under cowling lock unit and the light weight aluminum spinner which would cost me about 50 USD more. I just have some of the making pictures of mine BEAM from Mega Model today, it is ready to cover and will be send to me this Friday...
As I looked at the pictures I think they reduce the size of its back as they said before by one inch and it seems like the fin gets a bit bigger...really wana see when it finish...

The hipping cost is 4700 baht to Australia....I think we have the same price for the plane kid, but does yours come with extra cowling lock unit and the spinner? because i buy them separately.... The method of payment that i will use is bank transfer to their account cus they dont have any credit card payment yet, I think they r working on it..
I think mine will be here next week sometime.....cant wait to see it!!!

This is the Fin below i think there on about : However i would say its gimiky, CPLR designs one and it was only a matter of time before somebody else did. Harsh i agree but i dont want to see pattern getting to the point we've all got wings, winglets for tracking etc
They are sending you 2 though so i wouldnt mind specs, sizes etc for building my own
Arrives soon doesnt it ?

Gorgeous
I do like the beam, i know it has its critics but its great to see so much workmanship going into a plane that costs a few hundred $ and not a composite few thousand job

Around $650 depending on spec before shipping and about another $150 for shipping. That for me in GBP equates to about £325 and £75 for shipping which i personally think is an absolute bargain considering the current USD exchange rate at nearly 2:1. And when you consider the Oxalis 50 is £160.
The Oxalis 2x2 is €899 ($1200) and prefabricated is €2000, in no way am i comparing the to models mearly just highlighting my earlier point.
For the cost of the oxalis i could nearly by 2 beams.
However thankfully MHester came to the rescue with the excellent Black Magic V2 and i'm building 2 BM2's for the price of one Beam
