From: tulsa,
OK
I posted one of Chris's pics of my new plane on the pattern plane picture thread, added it to my previous post, i think its on page three. Its the Revolution Pro (AKA Cocaine in Europe) a bigger fuse than the Eclipse.
Good news about the contest I'll put it in my plans.

From: Fort Scott, KS,
FINALLY, ITS FINISHED!
The second is finally finished (maybe a few more graphics). Now we have to wait for some nice weather to try her out. This one came out a little heavier than the first at 10 pounds 11 oz. The fuselage for #2 was actually the first fuselage out of my molds which was my first experience laying kelvar. I used more material than necessary creating a 31oz fuselage (including chin and canopy).
It is powered by YS 140DZ.

This is the best looking pattern plane I have ever seen. It nice to see some out of the box thinking in term of patten plane appearance. Lately everything looks like a Smargrd (spelling). They are too far toward the form follows fuction design.
How does it fly?

From: Fort Scott, KS,
Adrian, I'm very satisfied with the first Defiant, rolls very axial, snaps very well, and knife edge loops with no mixing. This one has a smaller wing, thicker and wider stab at the root. I am hoping the smaller wing will help in windy conditions (mainly rolling maneuvers in cross winds). We'll have to wait for the temps to rise to see. Hey, thanks for your comments on the "out of the box" look.

From: Fort Scott, KS,
ggrigsby, The wing sets on the thrust line and the stab is .5" above. Also, there is no dihedral in the wings (tube is on center of airfoil) I believe this is why the plane rolls and snaps so well. Also, I have not had to use any mixing flying the advanced pattern.
Even though the wing sets higher than most patternships, there is still a lot of fuselage area above the wing which helps visually in the air.
Thanks, Todd
