Around 10pm we heard that Ralph DePalma made it about 3/4 the way and decided to head back to CA - we hope all is OK. (In checking with Lynn, who talked to Ralph, seems one of Ralph's planes got wet, the other one was not snaping well, and the practice field was closed due to a Rodeo - this combination was cause for rethinking this trip and Ralph headed home. Sorry to hear this Ralph).
