Does anyone know of a good and reliable remote mixture control linkage? are they available?

Don't know exactly what you mean by mixture control linkage, but if memory serves, Webra made a mixture control carb. I believe I still have one in my box of old stff....but I never flew the thing so can't say if it worked as well as advertised. Maybe somebody can fill in the details.

Bob Violett Models used to have a servo-controllable needle valve, if that would help you any. Haven't looked at their web site lately, but you could check it out.

Yes, what i`m looking for is a mechanism which i beleive adapts to the high end mixture control an the carburettor, which can be connected to a servo to give control of the mixture control in flight.

I looked on the BVM site a,d on the central hobbies site but cant find anything.

OS used to make such a thing don't see it now on Towers website but they do have an item by Perry that may suit your purpose.

You are better off asking this question in or searching the jet / ducted fan forum. I had a BVM in flight mixture control and it worked very well. It basically replaces your engines needle valve and allows you to adjust the needle in flight via the transmitter. I know that there is another manufacturer that makes a similar product but I can't for the life of me remember who it was.

Similar pushrod and servo system as is used with throttle operates just fine. Put short piece of fuel tube to the mixture needle. Drill hole (about 1/4'') to servo arm. Hole size should be slightly less than total diameter what needle plus fuel tube becomes. So loose you can adjust mixture manually when necessary.
