I would read the Nats news but there is no real information there. Nothing against the pick my husband segment, but Iwould rather see some current scores. Masters day 2 still has not been posted and day 3 is over.

There's some more info for FAI at Dave Reaville's blog.

Here's the Intermediate Final, Masters cut and FAI semi's results. I didn't get the Advanced results, but Brandon was first and Marcio was second.

Oooops! Inadvertantly overlooked D3 Joe Walker's achievement thusfar, Ryan McLaughlin's and David Stoddart's placements. Sorry about that......got caught up in all the hoopla!!!!!

Hat's off to all who participated.

Chip Hyde and Todd Blose are flying CA Model PASS-PORT with Neu electric motors. What about their performance ? Does somebody knows which Neu motor are running and ESC ?

According to Chip the performance of the NEU is even better than the Hacker's he was flying before. He really likes the NEU stuff.

As for Advanced, if you read Jason's post above. Brandon Landry was first, Marcio was second,

Chip has a NEU 1514/2Y and a NEU 1515/3D. The 1514 was custom made for Chip specifically for F3A.

Here's the FAI final results and new US Team. I didn't get a chance to take pics of the Masters and Advanced results (they were gone before I knew it).

The Unknowns didn't take as long as we thought they would have. QQ had some motor issues and other than that, the day went real smooth. I zero'd 2 maneuvers (K-4 and K-5) in my last Unknown (always listen to your caller, sorry Dave...lol) and that's about all of the "happenings" on our line.

Ok guys don't know why Jason did not get the Advanced standings , Guess someone stole them away before he got there to photo them . So here it is and it was a good battle to the end.

My understanding is that the Neu motors used by Chip, Todd, and Danny used a new 1514 motor with new gearbox. Castle 85HV, APC 20.5x14. Approx 70 amps and approx 6100 RPM (I believe all three are using different brand/size lipos).

Regards,

Dave Lockhart
