Bob,
Terry uses Elmers Ultimate Polyurethane glue. It will foam through the CF tissue and bond. He uses a foam roller to put the glue on.

I am also vac bagging, so that is going to be different also. Just incorporating various techniques to fit my circumstances.

I built these just as your picture shows except I tack glued to the fuse side to get the proper curve and placement. The shape and size didn't grow on me so I left them off.

Hi Mark,
Here's some pics of my evo with the OS installed.
Remember it has over 300 flights on it and its been bashed for different setups.
I've lengthened the pipe tunnel to try out the escoposites pipe. Currently I'm moving all my servos to the tail to try out the cg where you fly it at on the back of the tube.
Motor is hard mounted without a nose ring on 1.75" extensions. I didn't want to use a soft mount, coming from imac way back when, I'm use to this type setup. Being all wood/foam construction, it's worked well without any header problems, loose bolts, etc. Used the YS firewall. OS with the extensions pretty much matches the length of the ys on hyde mount so it basically dropped in. Tilted motor slightly which allows the header to be completely inside chin.
Covered monokote, painted canopy and chin. Wt should be around 10lbs, 8oz now with the OS plug, 1100mah life.
