Can anyone tell me the shipping box dimensions for the Element 170 ARF? Does it come in one box or two?
Thanks,

Ok Guys,.......

Clarification time: I posted the Element 170 ARF (wood version) would be $650.00 till the end of Jan 2009,...I was incorrect in posting that. The Element 170 ARF's introductry price was only till the end of Dec-2008.

The Element 170 ARF is $750.00 USD not including shipping,...for shipping prices contact Alex,..as shipping rates vary depending on the ship to location.

There are no ARC's being sold,..they are discontinued! For those interested in a base color only,..contact Alex at www.flitoncompetition.com and see if this is an option ( I have had alot of question about this). I know everyone or most people prefer their own color schemes,..so don't let the standard ARF scheme sway you,..ask Alex.[8D]
Please contact Alex Shim for additional options or send either of us an email. I will get your questions answered for you guys.

Regards, And happy flying!

Hey Jarvis, yes, I will definitely drop him a note.

Are you gonna post any pics of it soon on here? Have you flown it yet?

I am building a bipe currently and as I get closer I might share some pics of the build, but at least some of the finished parts.

Hello dears,

Sorry to divert you all back to the original subject of this thread however...
Have you guys already flown your Element 170’s and perhaps had a chance to perform a P09/F09 with it?
I am (and dare I say so many others?) very anxious to hear about the flying qualities of this nice looking plane.
How about stuff like coupling – does it need any mixes?
If anyone has more info please post.
This airplane sure looks like a bargain, provided it has good flying qualities and can “make the weight” (5 KG) using a DZ170.

Cheers,

Danny

Danny, please see the build thread in the electric pattern thread for the Element 170 for a flying report.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7967001/tm.htm

Chris Fitzsimmons did a nice job of the build part. Even tho he built electric, the DZ170 should be a drop in since it was designed with that size motor in mind. Should make 5 Kilos or less easily with the DZ170 since Chris is almost 5 Kilos with the electric setup.
