Best servos for 2m pattern plane?

Hi guys,
I'm looking to upgrade the older analog servos in my CA Fantasy with higher quality and better centering digitals. I have 1 servo on each aileron, and 1 driving both elevator halves. (I downsized the control surfaces, because I won't be doing artistic aerobatics, only Masters/F3A) I have a Hitec 5955 on the rudder, which I'm satisfied with.
Suggestions for aileron and elevator servos?
Thanks,
Dan

Dan,
I like the JR DS9411SA for ailerons, and the JR DS3421SA for the elevators, providing you've got dual elevator servos in your airplane. Since you're running one servo, then the JR DS8411SA will do the job nicely.

I am going to have to 2nd Ryan on that post because that is the same set up I use and it works very well; JR is the way to go. I use that set up on all my pass ports, including the 3rd one I will be recieving in a couple of days.

Dan,
As long as you stay with the big 3 brands, Futaba, JR, or Airtronics, you'll be fine. Kind of the Chevy v Ford arguement. For Futaba I use the BLS-451 for aileron and elevator (with one elevator servo), or 9650's for dual elevator servos. You'll be happy no matter which brand you buy.

I use JR ds821s on the ailerons for my Black magic and 8411sa for elevator and an 8611sa for rudder. they all seem to hold up to the Vibrations of the YS DZ

I am electric not gas, but I believe that the JR DS 9411's, and 8411's are a prime choice for flying either glow or electric.

Hitec should not be overlooked. They have some nice offerings. I personally find their 7000 series coreless digital servos to have outstanding centering, resolution, speed, and torque.

I agree, you will be able to tell centering issues regardless of the brand. Hitec has many complaints of this. Still, you could get the lucky ones.
Stick with the big three, you can't go wrong that way.

I have been using a mix of Futaba and JR.
On Integral 2xJR 9411SAs on Ail, 2xFutaba 9650 on El, 1 x 8411SA on Rud, 1xFutaba 9650 on Throttle
On Proline (not flown yet) 2xFutaba 9154 on Ail, 1xFutaba 9250 on El, 1 x 8411SA on Rud, 1xJR 3421SA on Throttle
There are plenty of choices, the most unique ever seen was on Seba's biplane Miss Wind, he was using the latest robot servos from JR. I guess he knows and there is some rationale behind it.
I believe most common and reliable standard in pattern is the 8411SA or 8401 (plastic). These servos are relativelly slow but powerfull enough for every surface. Stephane Carrier the designer of Integral uses them (8401) on all surfaces, after watching his practice and official flights I ended up that the best servos for pattern are in the thumbs...
