photo dump 4th try.

I keep receiving this failed message when I'm trying to upload photos. I have followed the message and used "automatically detect" settings.

Does anyone know what the problem is?
Thanks,

Only 2 things I can think to look at is that they are a jpg and forgot the size, but somewhat small. Otherwise you have to load them 1 at a time (still multiple per message though). Glad you made it home Jim, and thanks for the flight on the Passport.

OK - trying again with photos in the 170 kb size range. No prob for the PassPort flight for you guys. I'm glad to see all three of you fly it and make some nice setup suggestions. Luiz and I made the drive to my house in just over 3 hours. It was nice of so many people to come by and check out the plane throughout the weekend. I think it is an airplane that is reasonbly easy to fly well.

Thanks!!
Jim

Hey Guys,

Chris and I had a great time this year. The steaks Friday night were not the best of quality and I know John's dogs appreciated the scraps that were left over. Steve and Orlando did a great job running this multi event and Steve's son Westley did a real good job scoring. And we can't forget Sharon running from both flight stations gathering score back to the trailer. Everything was great and I ready for it to happen all over again. Mr Wingo, the chicken and bar-b-que was wonderful and I hope you come to Ocala in March with more. Jason, great job on all the pictures, when you are around you never miss a thing with that camera.

Thanks

Bryan - thanks, Hopefully we'll catch up at the next event.

While trying to upload files I came across this free photo resizer. This is a small application you download and install on your PC. It takes about 30 seconds. It stupid-easy to use, and resized 50+ photos from 1.6 megs to 10% of their original size in about 2 minutes. This is WAY better than the free on-line photo resizers, where you can only resize one photo at a time.

It is the FAST STONE freeware here: http://www.download.com/3001-2192_4-...b7371aa2330054

Thanks,
Jim

Jason,

Once again, thanks for all your help before, during and after the contest. Super pic's. Alot of activity. Missed most of it..........I was pre-occupied.

Jim,

Glad you were successful posting your pics. They're great! Good to have you back.

Mike,

Thanks for your support and sharing your fantastic food with all during the contest.

Larry,

Thank you for preparing the Friday evening steak and potato dinner. I'll bring my own fork next year.

Austin,

Sorry about the Auburn crack......nothing personal......

Tuny,

Hope you had a good time.

Chip,

It was a pleasure meeting you in person. I enjoyed your "on-the-deck-end-to-end-Omega-slow-roll" and the sound that tuned pipe motor makes.

Don S,

It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. Hope you had fun. I know Joseph did.

Orlando,

SPA/BPA is way too cool.

To all registrants and others who were unable to attend,.......see ya @ Tangerine 2009.

Steve Homenda

First off i would like to thank Mr.Homenda, Westley, and Sharon for all doing an amazing job of keeping the flow of the contest running super smooth. Also a big thanks to Orlando for keeping the BPA/SPA running with the AMA portion of the contest a non-event with no problems at all. I would have to say it was very well organized and being that there were 2 different contest running simultaneously i think everything worked as effeciently as possible with only the number of hours in a day being everyones number 1 enemy..lol. Actually i honestly enjoyed seeing some of the BPA/SPA planes take ot the sky knowing that some of those exact airframes were winning contest before i was even BORN!!!..lol...No point intended..but is just a crazy thought...lol. It was also equally entertaining to talk to Chip about him winning her first NATIONALS before i was brought into this world...HA!! Now that is "Crazyness"...also just as a side note Chip..Bring your own foam next time and ill work on getting a small container of Hostess Cupcakes delivered over seas for yah..lol. Id also better thank Ryan for letting me beat his Integral up and bit.."literally", and Jason for all the help over the weekend. It was nice seeing everyone again and hope to have another great contest next year.

And thanks again Mr.Odom for the terrific Steak & Potato dinner on Friday night..It was awsome!!!

Blake and Jimbo, great job on the photos. Jim thanks for letting Chris fly your new Passport. He really thought it flew very good. Blake glad you enjoyed the steak, I just wished it would have been a better quality of meat but eating in that kind of rustic scenario well it just doesn't get any better than that.

HI Larry - no problem. It gave Chris a chance to see what a mostly-trimmed-out F3A setup is like. It also looked like he could have went right into a competition round with it, given the nice 4-point and slow-rolls we was doing!!

It was my pleasure to have attended and I met many new people and had many great conversations. Despite my bad luck and staying up till 4am on friday/Saturday to get a plane ready, I enjoyed watching the great flying and talking with everyone.

Thank you Steve for your great hospitality and support throughout the weekend,..thanks to "those" (Don, The Odoms, etc) that offerd me a plane to fly (oh,you need another lock,..make that 2):D

Hope to see you guys next year!

Bill,

It was good to get to meet you and talk. Keep us posted on how things are going with the new Element. I'm going to be making that trip to South Carolina so maybe that plane will be ready then and I can get my thumbs on it a little.

Here are some pictures that I took. Chip preparing his BPA model for another flight. Jason getting his worl, I mean Tangerine championship trophy. A story- Chip promised Joe a flight on his Passport after the contest. The look on his face- of concentration- tells it all. His assessment- "its awesome" Why? "it flies just like a foamy" (meaning, no rudder in knife edge). He liked it, but thought the split rudder was the coolest thing. Guess what he did after the drive home- kicked up his feet and got back on the simulator...

We all had a great time. Thanks for this event.

Regards,
Don
