Thanks for jumping into my conversation with Bill. He and I have been poking at each other (friendly-like) online for several years in multiple forums. He wears a Great Pumpkin costume for Halloween, and I hope to get a blue bowling shirt some day. It's in good fun.
You haven't been thinking all this time that I was joking, have you [&:] Man, I gotta learn to type slower so people can keep up

As for digital communications being ''better'', I happen to come from the communications side of things. 10 years of working for a company called Intelligent Communication Systems, the small shop which created the communication system used by LodgeNet in their hotel entertainment system.
See I KNEW I liked you. Thanks to you those long lonely nights on the road were, well, a little less lonely if you catch my drift And the billing was always discrete, so thanks for working that part out too.!!

Now, back to Bill: I suppose we need to start wearing hubs and servo leads around our heads when making childish videos now

Andy
Not sure you'll have enough room what with all the satellites, loggers to track lost signals, and telemetry units making your transmitter buzz, but I guess you can try

See? Kidding. BTW, Andy used to play with boats. [:'(]

Bill,

Andy still plays with boats, Bill. Do you? Haven't seen you around there in a while.

We didn't do the billing side, that was all LodgeNet. We provided the communication system, definitely not the content!. Basically all the low-level stuff. We used that to develop a hospital system ("Debbie Does Dialysis" was always an title in the test databases ) to provide entertainment, patient and staff education. We provided systems (and I spent lots of time at) University Hospital in LA, Childrens in Pensacola, and Lutheran in Ft Wayne, plus we had about 20 other hospitals around the country. I stopped the traveling portion of my job after I woke up in a hotel room and had to call the desk to find out what city I was in.

Apparantly you do have a gap- between your ears

Is that the best you got ?
Surely someone of your intelligence can come up with a better insult
Not meant to be an insult - just a diagnosis
Wow! another online quack. The world needs more of you.

I'm hoping when Futaba comes out with their system they actually do get it right. Airtronics missed it by an "e"

Perhaps you can explain or were you joking and degrading Airtronics ?

I feel that many postings are from people grinding an axe.

Yes it is but it is the missing by an "e" that I wondered about thus the request for explanation.

Some fellows might not understand your joking and be influenced against Airtronics.

Ifigured you had a reason for your posting.

Look, I pointed out the error because the typo is funny. See the ad? It says "Telmetry done Right" but they misspelled telemetry, which means they did it wrong! It's funny and a simple typo, no reflection on them. But the irony is amusing. Why does this take so much explaining?

Never explain. People either get it, or they provide it.

Silent-AV8R,

I was trying to figure out what your text meant and that distracted me from looking at the picture.
Thanks for your explanation.

Jezmo,

I assume that you are referring to me Zor.
I assure you that it does not hurt my feelings knowing where it comes from.

I wish you would not degrade yourself by posting such nasty comments.
I am not considering inhabitants of the USA are of your type.

Please do not be a disgrace to your compatriots.

Well, at least it wasn't a hard failure. The little banner ad they're running here now fixes the problem.

As long as there are enjuneering skools, their well bee speling erors.

It was. Now let's see if you can find the latest ad copy whoops we made. (What makes it really funny was it was an engineer who found the error).

Almost as funny as the indignant dope demanding an explanation without looking at the picture you posted along with the comment.

Contrary to what you may think Andy, I actually do not go looking for errors in your stuff, too much work. I prefer the easy pickings!!

As was posted by another fine gentleman, I certainly was not looking for spelling errors in the attachment.

Since I did not notice it then I am referred to as a indignant dope .
Thank you very much for the fine education that you received.

Damn ... and I just upgraded to a Futaba 10CAG radio a few months ago! I like the idea of telemetry, and I will buy a Futaba telemetry radio when it comes out. I do want to know how fast and how high my planes are flying. I think that will be good information. Not really useful information, but good to know.
