Pitts S1-S by EMHW

Nice! I also would be scared of it. That's serious stuff there. I was out of work for a month from a lil K&B 61. ( not to start a " my injury" discussion). I had a close call the other night too. Can't wait to see it bumping around your field. Ya know what I'd love to see? Is you flying your sheber pitts now that your good and comfortable with it. Just a thought.

And who said I have been flying it and have become good and comfortable with it. LOL! That is first on the list as soon as I'm done so that I do get good and comfortable with it before the big one.

Uhhh, Umm, my everyday flier would be the Ultimate and/or the profile. I have not been flying much because of time split between properties, maintenance of all the properties, and building this monster. But that should be changing here in a couple weeks though with this one winding down and then summer coming to an end. Going flying tomorrow though!!!!

Yet another year comes and goes and tomorrow's our annual Big Biplane Bash, and I ain't got one. I'm really thinking about that sheber pitts next for next years bash. But that's a long way off. I'm still framing my current one. And slowly at that. Lol.

Well, I hate to disappoint but, I just did the make sure run. And apparently it seemed so loud before because it scares the crap out of me. But being a little more use to it now, it did not seem excessively loud so I am going to install it without a muffler and go from there.
A nice 3/4 view photo with the wings on would be nice to see.

Well the trip to the field went real well. Everything operated flawlessly and the motor ran great. No where near as much noise so it will stay with straight exhaust. There was one issue with the throttle not closing, a little endpoint adjustment back at home remedied that. There was some video shot and when it gets loaded I will post a link.

The video is not much but it served my purpose. And that was to do the range checks, both engine off and running, bounce it around just a bit to see if anything shakes loose/electronically, and to see or hear if the exhaust was where I want it. I think it is perfect and will leave it straight pipes. Now to get this bird finished up and let it take flight.

Man, that's got to be disappointing. I couldn't have that in my home looking at me every day just laughing at me like that. When do you want me to come by and get it out of there?

That was the only issue and has been fixed, it would not idle down below 11-1200 and should be around 8-900. That was the only issue, so, I am extremely happy.
