Yes sir. It fits assembled with the fuse diagonal to the door and the wings inline with the trailer. Problem with carrying it in that way was no way for two people to safely carry it through. The dolly is 1" off the floor with 2" recessed wheels it rolls real well in one direction, in and out. I am using ply side frames for the wing saddles and a 2x2 at the tail for added support. It will be supported at four points equally, L/R wing, the nose, and the tail. I will post pics when done and operable.
By the way, the pilot shipped out yesterday.

Once I get the maiden in and know for sure it is done I will order the body and figure out what I will do for the clothes.

Not yet, but, if the weather man keeps changing his mind it may happen tomorrow after all.
This morning rain was suppose to be in by evening and lasting through tomorrow. No rain yet, the band is getting smaller, and now they say it will be through by mid morning.

Robert, I've sent 3 emails to Vogelsang-aeroscale in the last two weeks requesting an update on the EMHW kits. Still no reply...I'm hoping that I should here from them soon figuring that we are already into the 9th week and they say shipping is expected between 6-8 weeks. They are to be drop shipped to you so if they suddenly show up on your doorstep let me know.

I purchased a kit from him a couple of months ago and it took him a few weeks to respond. I think he reps his own company at events and is very busy and away from home a lot. When he gets back in town he responds very quick and answers everything very thoroughly.

The dolly has been built and as you can see by the pics, it works very well. I am going to put a handle on the outside so as to not be pushing and pulling it by the wings. I am also going to put some bigger wheels on the other side oriented so I can lift by the handle and roll it around outside of the trailer. This worked out very well and there is still room for another big one plus all my normal ones are still in the front. That's about it for this week or so my back says, next week I will finish assembly and take it home for the maiden..

7x16, plus a V for the nose, the V holds three tails so not to use but 1' of the 16 for the three up front.

Three six inch barn hinges will be bolted to the floor and then to the dolly frame via 10-31 socket head bolts. Remove the 3 10-32 bolts, hinge falls flat on floor, dolly is free for removal.

pretty cool. Its great what one can come up with when the need arises. In your case, you didnt want to have to rely on someone to help, or risk damage to the plane. good stuff.

Ya, nice work on the dolly Rob. A plane that big will definitely take its toll on your back ( got a bad back too). I see you've got the nose tied down. What about the tail? I'd hate to see it bounce up and out of the dolly. I'd cry like a big baby...Ha ha. Knowing you, you've probably thought of that already and worked it out. Also when you maiden it make sure we get to hear that motor roar!!

Thanks guys, it definitely will make handling easier and safer. Squirrly, there will be a 2x4 running from the front to the tail with a 2x2 upright supporting the tail. Like you mention, I don't want any movement at any point. The nose is bolted to the metal bracket and the rear upright will be fastened as well, this should be rock solid. According to USPS the pilot head is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
