Default Looking for an engine Reduction gear

Hello,

Does anyone remember when reduction gear were available for big airplanes years ago??

Well, I am looking for a reduction gear for one of my engines, or at least plans to make one.. Any lead will be appreciated.

Scroll down and click on "Other Kits", then scroll about half-way down that page.

You're looking for "Torquemaster".

Maybe you can make something like this for your application. A few aluminim I beams and supports. OS 108 to turn a 19" variable pitch scale BF 109G carbon blades. Still working on starting system for engine.

DEar fellows,

Thanks so much for your great input, If I can get plans to a proven design, I think I can manufacture one at he hangar's machine shop.

The reason I alm looking for the reduction drive is because I am building a rather large airplane and I want to stay away from gas engines due to possible potential ignition interference problems with aluminum airframes.

The engine I am using is a MOKI.

Again, Thanks for your input.
