Hi.
I have a TF cessna 182 in construction and a OS 120 Surpass III w/pump. What would be a good prop and scale prop for this combo? I do not have enough ground clearance for a 16 diameter prop and want this plane to fly scale, not to speed. I imagine that this engine is only needed at fuull power for takeoffs, isnīt it?
What idle and top rpms will the engine run with the prop you say?
Thanks.

I have an OS 1.20 four stroke on my TF Cessna. You are correct that full power is only needed on take off - then back to maybe 1/3 rd. I use a 3-blade Master Airscrew 14 x 8 and get about 10,000 rpm at full throttle. I also have a Gropner 14 x 8 but it does not fit in the spinner.
