Nice pershing i realy like the crew. It looks like the springs are saging in the back i have red about the springs being to soft and bought some upgrade springs but the one i just got seems to have very stiff ones in it already. Maby they fixed that problem to make up for all the glue they painted all over it.

The HL M26 I just got a week or so back must be the latest revision ? Its an S&S with the RX18 with Metal Gears.
The rear on mine is really stiff, but I haven't run it more than about 15 minutes so that may change.
Just dawned on me these pics don't show it sitting as it would on the ground, but it looks exactly the same with zero sag.

I would guess I need to stiffen up the rear springs by the looks of it compared to your new Pershing. This is a heavy tank, as it ran for a long time with two battery packs in it. I just happen to have some stiff springs sitting aournd.

It's funny how they take on a sort of personallity when you name them, she'll no longer be just a pershing, she'll always be "Sue" from now on.
I'm interested in the canister on the headlight guard. I've never seen that before and haven't got a clue what it could be???? Care to enlighten me?

Pattoncommander is going to have to wade in here. I saw it in a picture, I have no idea what it was for. Maybe artist brushes and paint for the nose art!!!!!!!.

The "cannister" on the headlight guard, is for the plug to cover the base of the headlight mount. The light assemblies could be removed. that cap with the chain, would be put over the exposed section where the headlight was. To protect it from debris. ALL shermans, and later tanks had them, possibly up to the M-47.
