Either of these is no problem. I have done the Leo sound set using El Mod, so doing a sound set for this card will be easy, and will be available.

This is excellent,I am impressed.
I like the RX18 for it's cheapness at getting a tank to work effectively, however it's sound has always been it's big let down.

the sound set is not bad but remember the russian diesel only turns 2100 rpm and your rpm at speed is to high for a diesel and a russian deisel runs real ruff not smooth the lower rpm sound is great and the mid speed is right on for top speed eliminate the high rpm and you have it perfect

Startup, shutdown, and 50cal are good. I think only be cause I have been around M1's for so long the drive sound isn't right to me, that drive sound is with the engine out of the tank and goin thru the gears. Overall very good work

The Abrams and the Panther are not my design, but will be available for loading into this sound card. This is the nice thing about a sound card that allows you to upload and experiment with sound files. All of these sounds have been programmed and replayed on the same piece of hardware.

So for now this it. Time to move on and get this thing to production. There are a couple of little tweaks that need to be made in the design, and then on to manufacturing.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

Awsome work on the Abrams YHR. I bet it sounds even better when it looks like one. Absolutely love it! I want one for sure. How will it connect to the rx18? Does it just go between the board and the speaker? How have you disabled the track recoil?

The Abrams and the Panther is the work of someone else, and I can take no credit for the quality of these recordings. I just loaded the sounds into the card, but I will be sure to pass along the acknowledgement.

The sound card fits between the RX 18 and the 8 pin cable to the turret. All you will do is unplug the 8pin connector on the turret and plug it into this board. You then daisy chain back into the connector on the turret with another 8 wire cable. You then have to wire in a power supply and wires to both poles on the electric motors. Not sure if this part will be true plug and play. The current plan is to have screw terminals on the board for this part of the wiring. So no soldering. If you don't mind soldering there will be another option that bypasses the screw terminals.

On this tank the gun recoil fires on the left stick up. You don't press the fire button. All I did was make the mods to the recoil to have it go in the right direction, and then wired everything back up. The LED. fires off a contact switch on the mechanism, and the sound is triggered by the negative pulse used to start the recoil action.

YHR, forgive me if you have already answered this elsewhere but will your system retain the exaggerated recoil on the chassis or will this be removed

The way you will stop the recoil is to not press the button. You won't need it any more
so no button, no recoil

YHR, I have had a Heng Long Panther for nearly 1 year it hasn’t been removed from the box yet not even to test it a few areas I don’t like are the engine sounds and the exaggerated chassis recoil when the gun is fired, please could you let us all know when this is available I’m interested in this for my Panther, I have a project in mind.

Hi YHR
Don't think anyone else has asked, but will you be including a sound set for the M41?

Thanks
