Ill put this out here so that others will have the chance to read it. When I send someone something that is together and working, and they return it, it better be together not in a thousand pieces and my speaker wires cut so short it is no unuseable!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING DON'T DESTROY THE WIRING JUST TO FAIL!!!!! You better be glad I was generous enough to refund your entire money and lose money because if I had known then what I know now you wouldn't have gotten a dime. Cut wires here, cut wires there. By the way, the recoil is not broken at all. its brand new, odds are you just didn't know how to even use it. Despite all the damage, it will be running in about 45 min. Words of the wise, before you dive into something headfirst, know what your doing.

Just a FYI to everyone, PanzerAce is referring to White Tiger88 and not whiteknight1066. I saw some confusion earlier on WoT in the RCU clan (and i think on another thread here).<div>
</div><div>I think PanzerAce is a good chap that definitively went beyond the regular call.</div>

Furthermore, on the further breakdown, the reason the motors burnt up it because the drive gear from the motor is JAMMED against the motor mounting screw on the front of the motor. it was not properly put back in place and it was jammed against it. NO wonder it burnt up.

I do apologize for the "rant" but I dont like for someone to tell the entire forum that "its doesnt work" and "its broken" when I know good and well its not.

Being PO'd is understandable and you have every right to vent....I run into the same repairing woodwind instruments, after the player has attempted to fix the problem...then I have a rebuild instead of replacing a pad and adjusting. Some people have no respect for a repairman and think that obvious user caused broken parts can be overlooked.

I would not have refunded until the tank had been checked and the nature of damage ascertained. Then maybe prorated.[[&:]>:]

It's totally fixed now. NO big issues other than correctly setting gears oni the shaft and fully tightening screws. Re-soldering half the tank she runs great. The motors still run perfectly as well.

Well i was being nice but since when i bought it i was told the tank was fully running, has no damage at all (I asked about EVERYTHING in that area, along with if it was FULL METAL which i was told the tank was) However when i got it wires where broken, the switches didn't work &amp; Super glue was all over the inside trying to hide cracks. I am not sure about the rest of you but when sold something &amp; i am told it has no damage at all i am rather surprised no one else would be mad if they got something other then what they paid for.

I still have ALL the emails that I sent you, specifcally the email where I gave you links to every upgrade part it had on it. If you had clicked on the lower hull link you would have seen it was not all metal. I stated it was the asiatam metal lower hull. Asiatam classified it as metal , though only reinforcement, when i bought it from Phil @ RCTankWars 3 years ago. There were no wires broken because I keep everything in check. In fact, that upperhull was still, other than the replaced recoil, in factory condition. No wires were moved other than the on/off switch so I could mount the IR port. And what was with cutting my speaker wires back into the speaker???? Had to throw it away. Also, those motors are just fine, I ran it 3 hours today with no problems. Everything functions perfectly, I can post a video if you want. I reconnected all the wires you just cut loose. I assume you lost my allen wrench that I sent that I cannot find. You also lost my microswitch for the gun recoil. Thankfully I have alot of parts "in stock" if you will. Also I would LOVE to know whats broken?, cause it doesnt look broken to me.

This is the link I have you in the email, I can post it as well. http://www.rctank.de/product_info.ph...jlaie3r1jsffb1 Clearly stated in the description ->
The body is in metal, only the sides are in ABS
we also add to this Body Metal Tow Shackles with Nuts & Bolts
Metal Suspension Arms, Metal Sprocket Hubs
Metal Mounts for Idlers, metal reinforcement at the front etc…

oddly enough i put the alan wrench back in and i don't know why you are suddenly posting to flame me when you where fine with the return since you where fine with it. On the broken wire part however i had to fix a fair amount of them inside the tank along with pick hot glue off everything. But i fail to see how you flaming me does anything......... As you have offically turned me off EVER buying a used tank no mater how "good" of a deal i get.

I had no idea you ruined my speaker, destroyed the turret switch, and lost the microswitch (returned plug with wires cut to it only) needed for the recoil to work. I was told the motors "exploded". SO naturally, not wanting you to have a money pit, I took it back, but it got here and the reason the motors wouldn't move was because the gear you put back on was installed too close to the motor mounting screw and dug into it. Hence, your fault. Thankfully they still function just fine. There is nothing wrong with used tanks. You did get a good deal. All the parts Ive put in it total well over 650/700 dollars. You got it for 400. Then, lack of experience ( not your fault I suppose) you attempted to install aftermarket boards and got in over your head, simply gave up on the project and claimed "nothing at all works" when in fact it all works just fine IF it is wired correctly. Not to discourage you any further, I'd stay start small and get the hang of the electronics and the ins and outs of them before you attempt to undergo a total rewiring. Thankfully I had and was able to fix it perfectly. Heaven forbid I was a guy that knew nothing about rewiring it other than "plug-Nplay" cause I suppose I'd only have a huge pile of wires/metal/ and plastic sitting in a box in the corner.

However, on a better note. I do have a Tamiya King Tiger. I dont know if you've decided on what tank you wanted but it is great. Excellent runner once I put a tensioner in it. That stopped the track breaking I was having all together. Very easy to assemble and very upgradeable and detailable. Good kit and relatively cheap compared to the others. AAF tank museum is the closest supply to you I guess. They have it listed for 630.00. I say don't do what I did. Back 4 years ago there was no way I could afford a Tamiya so I bought a HengLong( they are much better now). Back then though they didnt have all the upgrades and options for HengLong tanks like they do now so when it broke, I bought another 1. I ended up buying 6 tigers, the old Pantiger, 2 jagdpanthers, the matorro and heng long KT's and a Panther G and 2 old pershings. I wasted money a little at a time to try to "substitute" if you will for a Tamiya. Was trying to settle for what I could afford at the time and did not realize that by the time I added up everything I had spend a little at a time on those tanks I could have bought 2 almost 3 tamiyas. So if a tamiya is what you want, go for it. Its worth it. Electronics are top notch and won't let you down. Don't wanna in any way discourage you from the hobby. Just if a Tamiya tiger/KT is what you want, don't lose focus and "settle" for less.

Nah, take that money and get you a brand new tank!!! Tamiya gives great instructions and easy to follow. The only real tedious and time-consuming process are the roadwheels and suspension but after that I found it to be a breeze. You are going to love it!!!
