Default Tiger 1 IBU2pro problem

Hi Everyone

I live in Denmark and I just bought a IBU2pro board at rctank.de. I have installed it in my stock Tiger 1 from Torro also bought in Germany.

It does not work 100%

- I use a FLYSKY 6-channel radio-transmitter/receiver
- The wires are correctly attached (speaker, power, reciever, volume control)
- I have succesfully calibrated my FLYSKY by removing the green jumper (and put it back on)
- I have copied the tiger1 files into the "tank"folder

But the sound is not working and it will not drive, however...

- The turret turns, main-gun moves up and down, machine-gun flashes, tracks moves a little bit when i fire the main-gun (when i attach the rest of the wires)
- I can here a little his or nice from the speaker when it is turned up loud.

But no sound, no driving

Whats wrong with my Tiger ???

Default short update..

The tank now moves, but still no sound - I don´t get the "systems is ready" message

And i guess that one or two of the channels are reversed - it goes reverse instead of forward and vice versa

The tank drives and the turret moves without the sd-card ???

Any suggestions ??

Default smoke module

Still have a minor problem...

I have this smoke module (TARR-unit) - It won´t work.

https://www.rctank.de/Rauchmodul-RM1...haeuse-Luefter

I have switched + and - as rctank.de suggest on their homepage, connected it to the proportional smoke switch, and tried to find a solution in the INI-file

Can anybody help me start it up??

Use a volt meter to read voltage on the pins of the smoke unit plug on the IBU.
if no voltage presnet, then follow, the manual to move the stick to activate the smoke unit, hold stick for a few secons similar to start tank. Then measure voltage again.
Compare voltage reading with rating on aftermarket smoke unit.
also, aftermarktet smoke unit might draw more current than IBU is rated for, just a possibility.

Have you tested the TARR itself? I hook mine up to a 6 volt RX battery pack direct and see if they smoke. If it won't smoke with 6 volts the problem is in the smoker.

Hey Crius

I have tested the smokemodule as you wrote. The cooling fan runs, but it is not making any smoke...
So i guess there is something wrong with the module - but it is brand new???

The module is not overfilled with fluid - I use the fluid that came along with tiger wenn I bought it

If you're running it on straight battery voltage and it won't make smoke you need to contact the place you bought it from to get a replacement. Otherwise your only choice is to take it apart and see if the resistor (heating element) needs to be replaced or if there are any loose wires. This is one more reason I stick to the stock smokers, at ten bucks each I can afford to just swap out the bad ones.
