I was thinking of doing something similar. Two Tk22s in one tank. Each with its own receiver, speaker and transmitter. Set up one board to control the hull functions and the other board to control the turret. One person could do the driving and the other person could act as the tank commander and control the turret.

I mean connecting two boards(tamiya DMD, tk24) to one receiver and using one transmitter.

I know YHR did it with a BARC and TBS mini.
He used the Tamiya DMD for drive, the BARC for turret functions, and the Benedini TBS mini for sound.
I dont know if the Clark would work. He used "Y'' cables to parallel up the BARC to DMD.

I think this has been done before, but only using 2 receivers. You bind 2 radios, one to each receiver, but you only plug in the functions you want to control to the receiver.
So the driver plugs into the the 2 drive channels and the other plugs into the other 2. The Danville guys have done it.

Thanks Shad! I'll give that a try. Don't want to steal this guy's thread.

You would need to use a y connector for the reciver or two recivers but you could do it

To get back on track here to the original post, here is the thread that YHR did on the Tamiya DMD/BARC/ Benedeni.
This may help understand how it could possibly be done with a Clark board. Proceed at your own risk!

TK24 requires all 4 channels in order to function properly. If you want to use the Tamiya DMD unit, you need to use a Y-cable for the throttle and steering channels. Also, VERY IMPORTANT, both units have a BEC. So when utilizing both boards you need to remove the positive wires from one unit.

So let's say, you remove the positive wires from the DMD RUDD. (Steering) and THROT. (Throttle) servo cables. This way you prevent something from going poof.

Correct. But as I already mentioned, remove the positive wires from one unit to prevent something burning out.

This is how I eliminated the track recoil in my HL Pershing. It's the RX18 with the crystals. I just split the power and receiver cables with a Y. One board runs the motors, and the other runs the turret/sounds.

We already have product as you mentioned, it called FTTS, all existing TK board can be graded to act as turret/chassis controller, here are details.

FTTS Series
