NEMESIS4U, hello again. Instead of using the JR equipment I bought the Futaba Skysport 6 75MHz. I took the almost finished sherman for a test drive. During the test I could not make the main gun fire. Even more confusing is, the tank shut off then started back up and the main gun fired with the recoil going foward instead of back. Alson the machine gun and the lights activate O.K., but I have to use different trims and stick moves. [] Have you or anyone else had this problem? If so, what is the fix?

Thanks for your help,
Chris

P.S. I'm going to post pics of the tank later.

Chris,
your situation sounded familar. I guess you tested your tank with your radio modified with butttons, right?
let me know if it is the case or not.

Hey Narcop,
The recoil thing sounds very familiar. On my KT the recoil unit came with it in the is the bakc postion, when I painted everything and test fired it, the gun recoiled forward then stopped, i fired again and it recoiled correctly. This left me with about and inct more to paint on my barrel. Oh well.
Did you fire the main gun again or just once?
Jimmy

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. Tomzag, I didn't modify the radio to buttons. BBC_KT, The main gun only fired once. When the gun did fire it did fired by itself after the tank stalled and then started back up[]. Nemesis4u, check your PM.

Thanks
Chris

Hmmm, I know this is going to sound stupid but I just am asking to help eliminate possible causes.
Is the battery in the tank fully charged? When mine get low, my tanks will do something very simular.

if the radio is no modified. check the both battery in radio and tank. either or both are weak, so tank could get signal from radio.

I don't know how, but I fixed the problem. I had the right and left yellow engine wires hooked up to the wrong sides. When I started the tank back up, the main gun fired, and the recoil worked the right way. Nemisus4u, thanks for the call. Thanks guys for the trouble shooting. Now if I could only get the turret to stop stalling and run smoothly.

Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris,
This might help. SEAD posted a fix and I started to experience turret rotation problems with my KT. I have SEAD's suggestion in place and it does help.

Good luck,

Jimmy, that reinforcement for the turret worked great.

Thanks,
Chris
