thanks leo2a6 owner for the great pics.i really appr. you taking time to do that.what i am really curios about is susp. details ,materials, and personnel opinion of durability,as this will endure the greatest rate of wear.if you could give me some insight to this i think it satisfy my query, and again thank you for your time and effort.

The only drawback to the suspension is the plastic swing arms. The point where they screw to the hull has a tendancy to split. other than that and a gear tooth issue i havnt had any troubles with the kit. The suspension uses torsion bars. Unlike the other kits in the tamiya line t actually uses a round bar instead of a flat spring bar.

I believe it was calvinwill who had probably one of the most impressive builds of a 2A6. He is the supreme user/abuser of the Leopard, taking it to its performance limits even to the point of the famed Leo Endurance Test.

Haven't heard from him in awhile and his site no longer has his Leo pics. Wonder what he's up to...

Others who have nice Leos are CapnCrunch43 and silentDEATH!!!

Parts arent hard to get since the kit is still in production. If you have the instructions you can go to the tamiya website and order a new tree or bag of parts. I had to do this to get new swing arms. Ill see what i can do to get you size comparison pics. Though it might be better if someone else did that since mine is in the middle of an upgrade/conversion.
