Finished the lower hull.Installed the on off switch, main board, built battery compartment, attached battery and soldered all the lower hull connections.Test run was good, run it all over the house.Did turns, fast spins, forward and reverse.Did notice it runs faster backwards than it does in forward, don't know why.Looking at any track resistance it would apear to be the other way around, this could be due to the weight distribution factor being heavyer in the front.Only part left is to figure out how to mount the gun elevation motor, headlights to wire, and general wire layout in the upper hull and plug in.Also installed a charging plug on the back of the lower hull. Pictures to follow--BIGMIG

Well today was the day, finally finished everything and put the two halves togeather. The one thing I did not do that I had planed on was a gun with elevation control.Looked it over for quite a while and could not come up with an easy solution to accomplish this.If I could have used a servo no problem. Was a bigger challenge than I wanted to tackle at this point.I used a board out of one of my original tanks I bought(tiger non smoke and sound model)and may down the road install the S & S boards.I did already install a speaker with this in mind, and there is ample room left for the S & S boards with-out any modifacation. There are two on & off switches, one for the head and tail lights and the other being the power switch. There are also the normal lights that light up when the tank is moving(this is the old style non S&S system, used the lights off a PZIII for this).
For me this has been over-all a fun project and I believe this to be mabe a one of a kind vehicle at this period of time.I think it turned out good and don't look all that bad,In fact I think it looks neat. One thing I'm not reluctant to do is experiment and try different idea's,thats how we came by the things we have today was different trial and errors by people with an idea.
One thing I can say is there was a lot of moddifaction done to this little hummer. The only thing that remained somewhat the same was the basic lines of the upper hull.It went from a wheeled vehicle to one with tracks and a turret, and a lot of stuff had to be made and changed. It just didn't come in a kit or remove one part and replace it with another made to allready fit. Thanks to those who have followed the build, hope you like the final out-come.WHATS NEXT--Don't know yet----Final pictures to follow.

Just a note==The cost to do this about (new hummer $60.00 dollars,my first Tiger for parts non S&S $68.00 dollars, parts from a PZIII that was also used for another project--est--$25.00 dollars======Total===$153.00 dollars) Not a bad price for a lot of fun and inertainment. And has anyone ever striped all the loose parts off a tiger and a PZIII.Was amazzed at all the parts I ended up with, may scratch build a project I have been thinking about down the road.

Guess you don't play pool much anymore! Alright, winter is around the corner. Let's see some video of these babies in the coming months!

Last March was when it was used last. Many hundreds upon dundreds of games of pool played on that table.Kids have all grown up and everyone now with their own busy lifestyle, things change.Prior to that it had a four level HO train layout setting on it for a year and a half. Now it's full of tanks.
