Default Tank Plans

Hey Fellas!

I've been kicking around doing some scratchbuilt tanks since nobody makes them in 1/16 scale. Where would I get the plans for them? I've seen guys with plans for the Panther where they simply made a trace of the slab of armor and traced it right onto the material to be cut. I'd like something like that but anything is a start. Anything you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Here are some site I've run across

http://cardmodelshop.com/store2/prod...fb9eab23e9369e

http://www.papermodelstore.com/advan...8229a6&x=0&y=0

If you look at Merle Mohring's Elephant on our site, he started out with a paper model, and scaled it to fit an old King Tiger chassis he had. In first few photos you can see the paper pattern's camouflage still on the tank.

Good luck

Well both are within reason as long as I apply the same resizeing to everything no one will notice a 2-3 mm difference

If you're printing out PDF's then make sure that the plans are all in the same direction ie the front of the tank is always facing the top.

A lot of printers distort an image (usually length ways) as the paper feed isn't 100% accurate. Even top end printers can have this problem.
