Very nice. Will Murphy allow sound bites as well

Mato has really stepped up to the plate with this one. I hope they come out with a firefly soon on the production schedule. Now just get them in the box and across the pond.

Well with detail like that; and rubber wheels, I'm afraid its just gone on my shopping list as a must have. I hope it runs well to go with the looks

Hi Swath!
I posted a link to this on the UK forum (I hope thats ok?) Lots of positive feed back points towards healthy sales for Mato!
Any news on when we can get our hands on one (or 2, or 3)?
Thanks
Mart

P.S. I know that's probably out of you hands, but any idea of timing for some of the other stuff we talked about...??

Hi Swathy,

I know you mentioned that the airsoft version will hit the market first. But any chances for the IR version to come out at the same time with the airsoft version? If not, do you know roughly how long it takes before the IR version comes out? The wait is killing me... ;p

Calvinlo: Airsoft only at first. The IR electronics are still in development and no dates have been set that I'm aware of.

Ex_Pat_Tanker: Don't mind at all. Since my computer crashed I don't have all the links and passwords, etc. reconstructed yet. I know the first batch has been assembled and a bunch were chosen for thrashing, couple of minor changes made but that's it so far.

Panther F: I shoulda had Carbonite, and or a RAID 1! Sadly all of my work and photos were lost. You guys have more of my photos, videos and files then I do right now!

Like all of you, I'm busting at the seams waiting! There were some tradeoffs in the design that will be addressed by metal and or improved parts as upgrade kits. The bogies function nearly identical to the real ones using far fewer parts and made from plastic. Metal ones replicating the original are planned as an upgrade. The T49 Steel 3-Bar Cleat Track looks cool with the "Duck Bill" EECs. Should give more flotation then standard width track. The T-49 is the metal upgrade track. The M4A1(76)W comes shod with T48 rubber block chevron tracks.

Not to the shape, just added casting numbers and foundry marks. I'm hoping that the next tank will get the revised gearboxes which will allow the use of the single brake front cover and the 3-piece cover when the M3 Lee/Grant gets built.

Swathdiver,

Are you say the M3 Grant/Lee is next in the pipeline?

Frank, there are 4 being considered for the next release.

In historical order they are:

M3 Lee
M10 Tank Destroyer
Sherman IC Firefly
M4A3E2 Jumbo

Let's make it happen then, in that order. [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

I was never a big Sherman fan, but I really like what I see. It looks much better than the press photos that where realesed before. I can't wait to get one. Still waiting for my KV-1 also. They all seem to take thier sweet time don't they.

I hope someone will provide a Grant turret. Personally I'm really interested in the British variant as opposed to the Lee (Ami variant)

I want both! A Grant desert version would be the ticket. There are no British tanks yet! []

Ditto... I've never really been a fan of the Sherman, but they have definately done it right. This tank looks good! [X(]
