If anything, looks like it was a field mod using what looks like very late Panther parts. However, the KT is suspiciously picked clean, nothing on the sides, no track hangers on turret, small access plate missing, and seems to be standing on rock hard ground with no evidence of him moving to his location, IOW the entire vehicle is standing on top of the ground, no sink in at all, no dirt on the tracks, nothing. Hmmm.
Also, look at the center outer wheel. Seems to be undersized, or is that an optical seclusion?
Still, an interesting mod.
Oh yeah, and the early/late single link tracks, witness the 18 tooth sprocket, so he's after Oct '44.

Don this is one of the 2 prototype Porsche Tiger II that was captured in Germany at the testing range 1 is now on display at Bovington, the Tiger you are looking at has the snorkel device on the engine deck and a Tiger experimental version of the Flamvernecter exhaust this was never put into production it also has the 18 tooth sprockets and tracks fitted these were removed and placed on the Bovington Porsche Tiger II this Tiger also features zimmerit the Bovington Tiger does not and has never had any, its seen here during testing, the tank never saw action.

Yep, just another mod to the exhaust to keep them away from any fuel fumes.

I believe it was an after war pic. If you look to the extreme right you can see what appears to be a US Medic vehicle, with the big white square and red cross.

Yup. Rivet nailed it, it's a Porsche KT. The single link tracks were used on them and a very few of the Henschel KT's in the beginning, then they went to the double link, and from Oct '44 on many of the KT's reverted back to single link with the 18 tooth sprockets, and if memory serves from researching production also started with the single link tracks about that time.
You are correct on the med truck. I missed that in my first look at the KT, concentrating on the KT itself.

I noticed that the tracks are not really straight or parallel to the ground but there is a slight angle to the corners or is it because of the picture angle?
Do the single link tracks have this feature?

There were 3 types of Tiger II tracks first was double link and bog bone links with 18 tooth sprockets then came the 9 tooth sprockets with the double link tracks which we all know this Tiger has the final version 18 tooth sprockets with single link tracks and yes there is a taper to the outside of the links this particular Tiger along with the Porsche Tiger II in Bovington was captured at Kummersdorf testing facility there are a couple of films below though there are others that were filmed at this location the Tiger II is recognisable in the films by it’s blown main gun barrel
