Just join LOL.. Im only running on Thursday. I still cant control this engine.!
Ive done around 10 tanks totally through the Picco now.
Ive started to tune it, still running right, low 210s at the moment.
But OMG does this thing have power, its just opening up and opening up.!
I need to change to a larger clutch bell.! I went from 14T to 16T and its still throwing out too much torque, wheel spin all around
Its nearly destroyed 1 set of tyres.!
I got a short vid of it idling, Ill try and get that up soon.

I didnt mean it in that way.
Meant like too much wheel spin. Dont gotta go all ' Pro ' on me.
Yeah I dont know much about modded motors, most insane motor ive driven is the 528XRR Tuned, now that was stupidely crazy.

The instructions that came with my P-3 are wrong on the low speed needle settings. It says to set low 10.5 to 11.5 out. That is way to rich. I belive the low should be about flush.

I have a .28 XZ
Saying that, I need to get that one up and running again.
Lord people really read into what you say, and where did I say " uncontrollable "..?
Or should we do everything that Nathan and Integra tell us to do because theyre the ' Pro ' and theyre always right no matter what

Well just hit 20 tanks today
Bout less than a gallon, its still insanely tight.
Gonna go back out and try and get another gallon through by Thursday. Just came back in, my brakes are completely shot [:@]. On my last set right now [:@]
Its starting to tame down, getting the hang of it. Now I know what everyones going on about when they talk about the Picco

Heat Cycle. Im guessing ive already done the ' break in ' process, just stretching it
As for pipe - JP 4 until I get an 086 pipe ( heard those are the best kind for this engine )
Reckwards Clutch
Trinity Drake Pro Plug
And for fuel, at the moment Sidewinders 25% will be going up to 30% and keeping it there.
I still need to get a bigger Clutch Bell, upgrading to 16T hasent made any differience, Ill be picking up an 18T tonight. Hope that stops the excessive wheel spin. Gotta re-do the diffs too.

I have a 14T
I havent yet tried it with the Picco, But will do and then check how it runs. The reason I like the 16T is because we have quite a few pretty long straights at the track, so it kinda gives me an advantage there.
Ill bolt the 14T on tomorrow and give it a shot. But the clutch is going alright. I still gotta inspect it, ill finish off a gallon and check it out tomorrow. It engages a bit later than I would like it to tho. This is just something that I had lying around, im gonna go back to the Ofna clutches; I love those for some reason.

I agree with Integra, the 14T CB would be the largest that I would run on this application. Any larger creates quite a load on the clutch, a lot more than necessary.
I remember reading that Drake uses a 13T for almost every track.
I have the JP-4 as well. I might just keep it unless anyone can confirm that an 086 pipe is that much stronger on the top end?
