Default Engine trouble with my crt

I'm having trouble starting my nitro engine. Its a Novarossi .28 528xrr.

Annyhow..

When I start it will die after I take off the glow plug ignitor, it will run with it while still attached but as soon as I take the darn thing off it will die 3-5 seconds later. It uses turbo style plugs and Ive been tried new c6tf's and c6tc's. Im using Blue Thunder 30%fuel.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Adam

Could be all sorts of tuning, or lack there of, issues. But a engine that runs until the glow igniter is removed is usually a result of a bad glow plug.

That's usually a sign of the engine being too rich. I'd try a hotter plug if the engine is already running a bit lean, or seems like it's tuned nicely. I know I had that problem with my Ninja .28 until I got a hotter plug, and then it ran like crazy.

Thanks for the help.

some one prob. said this but it rich, if you are breaking it in its fine to leave the igniter on for a tank then lean 1/8 tunr and that should stop it.

Well I got the truck running good but now I have another problem. Novarossi suggests running 25% in the truck, only problem is 25% is very hard to come buy. Should I use 20% or 30% or keep searching for 25%. Im located in the LA area, Hacienda Heights to be exact, so if you know of any shops that carry 25% please let me know.

Thanks,

Adam
