The Jammin .12 and the Hyper .12 are about the same. I could better compare them after the Hyper is run a bit more. The Picco 7 port that came with the Pro there is no comparison.

Ordered on Tuesday supposed to be here on Friday got it today I love the USPS. Got it broken in today will hit the track tomorrow unless it rains. Here are some pictures with its cousins. I'm going to run the rtr engine till it dies then I will drop a JL red dot in like the other two. I also put a spektrum receiver in with a stickman 1000 mah NiMh and they fit in perfectly.

It seems like it would fit. Because the hole for the cooling is in the middle I can't get the body all the way on. It does look like it would work if you cut the hole where it normally would be.

Thanks. I wonder if the motor mount would work on the .5 and allow us to pull that pipe in closer.

The chassis on the crt.5 is wider than the Hyper. The pipe on the Hyper is longer and thinner.

It's here.. Two days from the UK, not bad...

Mogi and thekaiman(and whoever..), how 'bout a quick checklist of what I should do before start up(besides the normal checking all the screws, etc..)?? Any special places that need to be threadlocked or whatever??..

Pat, is that a normal sized pipe.?

Or is it one of those mini' pipes that the CRT .5 uses.?

Hey, you mean like "normal" for a 1/8?? Na, it looks smaller..

Can I run %25 Sidewinder, or should I use the %16 I have for my .15 onroader??

You can run any nitro % you want. Just make sure you have the right amount of shims under the head.

@ HerrSavage. I went over mine just like everything I get just a couple loose screws.

@ qaiz. The pipe is longer than the CRT.5 but smaller than a 1/8.

Could somebody post a few links from amain of what kinds of premounted wheels/tires would fit?? I looked, but don't know which buggy, or racing truck, fronts only or what would work..

I have a thing against white rims... So yeah, need to have black, yellow, or even chrome rims.. White rims just remind me of some jack.ass gym coach with his socks pulled up..

I don't know of any premounts. I use these tires http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/2380. Then use the CRT.5 wheels they come in different colors. Any 2.2 rear buggy tire will work.

Redid a few stickers..(), air filter, antenna, all that stuff in..

Just having a few reservations about running %25 - manual says 10-20... Also would like to have a better hump-pack..

Anyway, ready for break-in..:

Hey, what if I mixed 50/50 %16 and %25 in a fuel bottle? The former is blue, the latter red, so I guess it'd be purple.. But would 50/50 be the right mix??..

Where in the h.ell is the LSN on this thing? It must be the mid-range needle, but in the manual it says the mid-range needle IS the mid-range needle, and more or less not to touch it...

So did you adjust the mid-range needle instead??

Also,

Yesterday I noticed that the right front wheel seemed at a weird angle.. So this morning I was looking over the whole steering setup, and there just seems to be quite a bit of slop - especially left front.. My Muggy gets the same way, but I was able to fix it more or less by tightening the screw on the left steering post.. I tried that with the HST Mini, and then there was a crack in the end of the plastic arm..(have to learn to be more gentle than I am with my 1/8's) Nothing major - I think it should hold.. But I measured the turnbuckles, etc.. - still slop, still the slightly weird angle in the right front wheel.. Anybody else noticed this?

Na, I figured it out.. It's got these screws down in the A-arms which control how low the truck sits.. I guess this is what's called "droop"???.. Anyway, balanced it out, and it sits much truer now, with a much cooler looking stance..

Sssooo, finished break-in.. Made a small vid:

http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u...yperSTMini.flv

Nothing spectacular, but yeah..., you know how it is - alone in a parking lot..

Anyway, fun little truck.. My take on it is, it really only makes sense for a track first of all.. Being so used to my 1/8 cars, I have to learn to be more careful with this thing.. I hit a glass bottle in the parking lot at WOT.. It shattered the bottle like an explosion, and the car was OK - but I think I was lucky.. I bent up the pipe on a little 2-inch curb thing I never would have paid attention to with a Savage for ex...

Needs to be on a track to really have fun IMO...

Finally got the MHST to the track today. Was good fun.. It really is a lightweight though, and gets thrown around.

I don't know if you can see in the short clip, but later I was cruising around the track in the opposite direction and BAM!!!!!!!!! - against that little curb. Total idiot mistake.. Really dumb... I thought OK, that's it - a-arm broken.. But the pin just got knocked out, and those little metal plate things that go on either side of the front diff were bent up.. Got it all back together though and it kept on trucking.. (GOD that was a PIA - you need six hands to get those pins in...)

Is it normal though for the front of the chassis under the front diff to be bent up?? Cuz mine is... [sm=red_smile.gif] Still seems to be going all OK though..

http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u...=GoodClip1.flv

(from before the crash, but was going the same after too..)

Went through a few plugs today. Doesn't seem too crazy about the new OS A5 I put in at the end.. The best was some old thing I had laying around in my box. Don't know what it was, but it was going good for a while...

mogo got a bent drivetrain from a os .18......something a crt.5 can handle.

Thats odd.
